hey guys (cal and Mitch/Ali), appreciate all the work...a few questions before i hop aboard

question for Mitch/Ali...everything is 1 unit unless otherwise stated, i assume...is that standard American format (ie. dogs to Risk/faves to Win) or Euro format (everything to Risk) or "chase" format (everything to Win)...?

btw, for a dog-heavy MLB "grind out value over a season" effort...there's nothing to be alarmed at whatever with your results...units must "breathe"=go up and down...as long as the "bottoms" formed by the outbreaths keep getting better (ie. less negative early in the season...more positive as the season progresses)...but we're only in early May...down single digits after a period of "exhalation" is quite common--and many brilliant hi-profit seasons are just about where u guys are now...so don't change nothin'...just let the results breathe

same to you, Calmeat...as you know...it's a grind and "chase" methods create even more volatitlity...the "ups and downs" are magnified by the lage bet-size adjustments...i like what ur doing by combining several to "smooth out the bumps"...more than one system simultaneously is like holding stocks in more than one sector of the economy...diversification lowers volatility...

that's all gentlemen...keep up the good work...and ignore much of the short-term unit swings...it ain't broke so no need to fix nothin'

Yes, 1 unit always for us and standard American format. Also, thanks for your info it enforces what we're doing even with ups and downs. We keep checking ourselves on the game choices but still sticking with what we're doing. Mitch has been doing this longer than I. Also, I have never been a sports person and have enjoyed what I've learned even with the fustrations as you say "let it breathe" ups and downs.

hey cal,

what kind of a bankroll do you have to support all of the systems u'r running simultaneously...i'd guess u'd need at least $500 as a starting bank to be able to take all the $-bets that you post that are required, with enough of a "dollar"cushion" be able to get through the worst periods...
