Aside from the fact that just betting on the Cubs in general is a bad idea, I'm a little concerned by Wood's slow start on the road this year. It's been ugly. Still, I can't ignore the fact that I have the Cubs at +135 in this spot. I'll roll the dice and see what happens.

I actually toyed with the idea of going even bigger, but it's the Cubs. All signs (for me at least) pointed to this line being ridiculously inflated. The Cardinals are a .500 team and playing like one. No reason for them to carry this much juice with a second-rate pitcher on the hill.

edit: they are 3-15 at home. as i've said in the past, that win % is unheard of in pro sports. that organization should be ashamed of themselves. and they were facing a nats team without zimm, harper, or laroche, aka "the B team"
