Yeah I know you and I discussed this before, but I'm just saying your posts about the closer come off as you believe beating the closer is important as opposed to you trying to prove that it isnt

It's "important" because a lot of so-called "experts" and pros at SBR and elsewhere say it's important.
I just want to make sure I point out the many instances where I lock in a great opening number, there's a ton of movement in favor of the play I make (even "RLM"), and the play crashes and burns. Because it happens all the time.
There are plenty of linear thinkers out there who tail touts and suckle at the teet of the Justin 7 types, who have been peddling this shit for years like it's scripture.

NC, you know why those plays crash and burn?

Coiner, I don't mean to rub salt in the wound... but I just checked the lineups for the nats and they are missing Harper, Zimmerman, and LaRoche... what was your logic behind the nats pick?

What do you mean you "just checked the lineup"? Harper and Zimm have been out for a while. You wouldn't get Washington at +126 in this spot otherwise.

Was LaRoche recent?
Regardless, 3 runs on 9 hits for the entire series for the Nats is tough and missing their #5 doesn't help... my two cents.
Good luck with the rest of your plays.

with you in this one, hope the Giants pull this one off for us. I'm hoping for a LAD bullpen crash and burn...
btw, what is your lean for the sunday night baseball game? I am personally leaning STL, but Miller has pitched quite poorly in Pittsburgh. Maybe it is a calling for an over?

That series has eaten me alive. I'm sure the Cardinals will win after they bent me over the last two days.

The free money continues from Vegas. Cardinals at even money against Charlie Morton? Figured they knew what they were doing making them -110. Guess not.

I would also like to extend a big f\*\*k you to the Cardinals, who managed to get more clutch hits in the first 5 minutes of this game than they had in the entire series combined when I backed them.
And WTF was with this total? 7.5 with two gascans on the mound relative to their numbers against the opponent?

Def agree with u coin on tonight's total. Made absolutely no sense and then the cards go out for four in the first. Watch out for the cards in the next few weeks as they play ALOT of home games.

Unreal. Alvarez smokes one to the wall with the bases loaded and it gets caught.
Where was all of this St. Louis magic the last two nights? Pittsburgh is hammering Miller, but he's wearing a teflon jersey out there.

Yeah I undetstand what you're saying. Ive noticed that when there is a drastic like move it is important to see why it moved. I noticed newbies here just assume that sharps must pounding that side, IDK why they automatically assume that. Books moves lines for what ever reason they want to. Every linemovenent is very telling, what its telling is dependent on what caused that movement, which may be hard to decipher for some. Also tell your boy to get the penetrate out of her conversations lol. I dont know who that child thinks he's talking to.

Totally agree here. Cards been sucking up a storm, barely squeaked out the win last night and should be a bit tired today.

Aside from the fact that just betting on the Cubs in general is a bad idea, I'm a little concerned by Wood's slow start on the road this year. It's been ugly. Still, I can't ignore the fact that I have the Cubs at +135 in this spot. I'll roll the dice and see what happens.

i personally dont like to bet on the Cubs but i do think this is a good spot for them today.
Travis Wood is a better pitcher than he has shown so far this season. He is due for a break out performance.
