It's pretty awesome, and a great that it's kept a group of good friends close for so long. Last night was not so great. We won by forfeit when a player on their team dislocated his kneecap about 10 minutes in. His left kneecap was about two inches off center. Poor guy. We had to hold him stationary until the ambulance arrived. Glad that it wasn't one of my guys, but so sad to see anyone hurt like that. We play at Cleveland State rec and a handful of their players were there. They kept walking over to check it out. There were some looks of stark terror on a lot of guys faces in that gym last night.

I played college ball (div II not I) and man do I miss the competition. I was a st8 up gym rat growing up and it paid off with a scholarship. But the longer I've been out of college the less I get to play. (30yrs old) so enjoy it man because basketball players around the country that are transplants because of work or whatever else are very jealous you still get to play with lifelong friends. It also goes without saying, but the dude that hurt his knee needs to take rehabilitation and physical therapy dead serious so later in life he can live a life with no pain or limitations. BOL

Good day Biff. On Sunday I made a total of 9 plays and lost every single one of them. I thought it was best to take a few days off, regroup, and just scoreboard watch. Back at it today with a few plays.

woww that suckss, tearing your triad= life long injury, especially at his age. thats pretty sad considering its a friendly game....

Don't know the specifics, but just got email from captain of their team saying that doctors at Cleveland Clinic were able to put knee cap back in place, no major tears and he should be okay long-term. Glad to hear that. Certainly better than expected. Gruesome injury.

Well I could be wrong on ligament tears. Knee definitely displaced - saw that - and their captain in his email said they "put knee cap back in place and he should be okay." I inferred no major tears since he didn't mention it and discussed in such cursory fashion; I could certainly be wrong. Now I'm curious, gonna ask.

Yeah, I realize how truly fortunate I to still be able to play with my best friends at age 40. My younger brother was much better than me, played DIII, but never plays anymore since he moved to Charlotte and doesn't have good options for teammates. He'd rather not play than play with assholes. Can't say I blame him.

Tigers at a real disadvantage on road in interleague play. Victor sitting really hurts offense, but Victor behind plate may hurt them even more as opposition can run wild on him. Also love Cashner tonight.

Passing on O's in large part due to weather. I think that they're a solid play, but i also think that game is most likely to be rain delayed (and i'm already on the other two candidates with Red Sox and Marlins).

You're a bartender? Nice. One of the few jobs i never had, but seems like a lot of fun. MLB.tv app should definitely make it easier to keep up. normally would agree but Liriano been incredible at home, not so much on road since coming to pit.. Brew crew have a lineup no lefty wants to see and I think they knock Liriano around tonight.
