new to sbr. on an unreal run with this financial model i developed in my investments class. was messing around and applied it to sports. i will post my plays right after games start since I am looking to make some side cash from selling picks but need to build credibility first.

ok so before the games start it is. thanks for the input. sorry if I came on too strong, like i said i'm new to this. and i have been betting them its just i only bet to win 250 I don't exactly have large sums of cash to throw on these games. i know its a small sample size of games too so what if I start pressing and I revert to the mean. can't really take those chances. especially after a week like this where the model has picked 7-0 kinda makes you feel like its gotta end ya know?

anyways this is a value model. doesn't tell you wether one game is more likely than another but rather if the juice you are paying comes at at greater cost. in the end the 80% isn't really what matters its the risk-adjusted return. for example someone could bet 80% with all the games at -250 but someone who is 70% with games at -170 will have a better risk-adjusted return. my strategy is about achieving "alpha" for lack of better terms. more return with less risk.

heres some of the outputs ive been keeping track of after running the actual model. used to keep track of ERA differential between starting pitchers too but after multiple attempts at multivariate regression analysis couldnt really find it to be a significant variable. anyway pick coming later. thanks again for listening.

He might have sold his soul to Satan. On a more serious note, going 8 out 10 while betting on -120/-130 favs is really not that hard and is very statistically possible. Hell, I went 7-0 on my first 7 picks playing streak for cash. I am ~50% since. What I am saying is that to really trust this guy, he needs to go at least 20 out 25. Then I will believe in Satan.
