Def more fun to win like that than lose. Won by hook, Neal my hero! Lol. 1st half over 3-0 now even tho this one had horrible pace for all but maybe last 2 min of 1st qrtr and last few of half. And really no business getting there. Nice to be lucky sometimes, especially way bases been going last couple days.. Think ill continue playing the 1st half overs cause doubt they play that ugly a 1st again.. But yea heat the big play in gm4 no doubt, don't let the jerkoffs around here or on espn tell ya any different. I'm sure we hear how spurs figured them out, blah blah blah. laa/balty ov 9.5 +102.. hammel been terrible at home sporting a 1.67 whip and a era north of 7 this year..hasnt been good vs laa in his last 3 times facing them never making it out of the 6th. williams making a spot start for laa and while he has been good in his previous starts this yr for the most part he also faced several weak lineups, in fact his only poor start this season was another spot start situation where he faced balty and got touched up for 5 runs in 4.1 innings of work. this is actually a rematch of a gm balty won 8-4 a month ago in la, now they meeting in a more hitter friendly park with nice warm temps which will be a test on williams who while getting fewer ground balls this season is sporting a better hr/fb percentage than ever before in his career... fletcher behind the plate calling balls and strikes, while by no means would i call him a "over guy" he has consistently never had one of the bigger k-zones around which prob wont help hammel who k/bb is under 2 to 1...so we got nice warm temps, hammel who been abysmal at home (18 ks, 13 walks, 1 quality start in 5 gms), williams making a spot start against the same team that lit him up in a similar situation a month ago, facing a couple lineups that been held down the last few days, think the bats break out here and the ball be flying..Comment -

det/kc ov 7.5 ev.. what can i say that makes sense? umm these teams have barely scored this many runs in the 1st 2 gms combined! oh wait that doesnt sound good..fister and gas can guthrie gave up 5 runs 1 inning and then no one else scored? oh shit again sounds bad. 2 bad ass pitchers? damn im on over not under.. wait i got it,, it hot as shit in kc today and the wind blowing out strong! yea that's it..i dunno, i doubt i can say anything that would make anyone wanna play this gm over with the way this series has went and now the aces on the mound so figured id tell jokes and hope nobody makes fun of me too much.. it is gonna be tough conditions for the pitchers tho and prob 1st time all year they have been in heat like this so i guess im counting on both having to labor a little bit and hopefully cant go past 6/7 innings tops, figure verlander give up 1 or 2 early so if that happens then det pen in late maybe kc can finally break the 3 run mark.. shields is very good also but det does have some guys with decent numbers against him and the heat and win maybe help their 1 dimensional asses hit hrs..did i mention it was hot and wind gusting out? lol..oh and why the hell didnt they make this a flat 7? cause i doubt there many ppl crazy enough to take over 7.5 w the aces when both gms thus far been 3-2..that all i got but i like it.. lol..Comment -
random cards thoughts.
too expensive imo..despite cards tagging him once this year Gee is the type of pitcher that can give cards some problems, he be a perfect pain in the ass for cards if he was a lefty, which of coarse he is not however throw out the stinker last month and you will see gee went 7 only allowing 2 against the cards in a start in '12 and '11 which doesnt surprise me cause as i said he just that type of guy that can get on stl nerves, in 54 abs against gee current cards have only 3 extra base hits and one of those is a homer from ty wiggington who i seriously doubt is in lineup(lol)..miller a stud no doubt and a little further ahead of wacha but in all reality they charging 50 cents more when id argue muts rolling out much better pitcher and miller while awesome and ahead of wacha at this time i dont think his stuff is THAT much better...not really saying i would back the muts cause find it hard to give them more than 3 runs against shelby and a once again fresh rosenthal and mojica...Cards bats scary and this total low and could have a better ump but i think if total gets pushed up some today as you would expect with everyone watching cards mash the ball i think under is where i wanna be, i guess maybe muts tt un be ok, or ff under to avoid that pen but think we looking at a tight low scoring one tonight..certainly wouldnt wanna give the 1.5 for hardly any + money and damn sure not paying -170ish for cards..Comment -

kc+170..this line has to be driven by name recognition of moore cause i really dont understand it.going back to last season kc has taken 7 of 9 from tampa, kc is actually winning gms going 8-1 their last 9, kc much better vs lefties and have hit moore in the past..Mendoza is no prize but unlike moore i think he has actually pitched decently of late,,over seems appealing here as well but couldnt pass kc at this number..Comment -

stros have scored 13 runs in last 7 gms and 6 of those came last gm. sale has been a beast on extra rest (i guess he typically a beast tho) and went 8 not giving up a run to hou last seaso..chisox barely score 3 a gm vs lefties and i dont think bedard is terrible, certainly not great but dont think hou scoring more than 2 in this gm so guess i figure bedard or anyone w a pulse can hold sox under 6 runs. i assumed roof be closed but not sure and guess dont really care, prob could just have easily went with hou tt under but i thought it would be juiced more. hou does score more off lefties in general but sale not exactly just any lefty..Comment -

yea honestly the line is a joke.. but imo they been fukkin up cards lines a lot lately, they were way to expensive in gm 2 against muts and underpriced in gm 1 and 3. certainly not just saying that after the fact as i mentioned before all of them, just turned out cards won the ones they were underpriced and lost the 1 they were way too high, lol..Comment -

i actually think diamond will be solid. last time he faced det was the only time he didnt put up a quality start against them, tigers not exactly mashing the ball and no one besides miggy really has any numbers to brag about vs him. very strong wind blowing in and det kinda a 1 trick pony. i dunno i saw more value in twinks but gun to my head not sure id play over.. either way total a pass for me so bol..Comment -
