Would you chase this amount plus 1 unit profit for the next bet?

Say you are betting $10 per unit and lose a -200 game 1 betting $20 to win $10.
Say the odds in the next game are also -200 and wouldn't you have to bet $60 just to win that $10 profit? $20+$10 = $30 x 2.00 for the -200 odds = $60. Correct me if I am wrong please.

No correction needed, you are bang on. If the odds are +100 or better than yes we are betting less to win that 1 unit which is beneficial.

I think if you were doing the Twins Plus 1.5, than they would have already won the bet for you two nights ago...their are some teams that are just too hard to trust lol...tigers could beat them 18 outta 20 times this season...

one of my main things in mlb is betting the streaks, and the chases to me that are hardest to tail is when a team has won 8 or 9 in a row and some team has lost 5 or 6...and it happens to be a game where u have to fire a Game 5 or Game 6 on it...either way ill be honest...i have yet to really see one lose thats gotten to the last step or two...its almost shocking

Have you ever considered just waiting for Game 3s 4s and 5s...and pounding 6s if it gets there??

I hear ya. It is pretty nerve racking when u are dropping 32 units on a game where the team you need to win is shitty or on a losing streak like the Jays were. You could definitely start your betting later on in the streak. There are lots of plays so its not like you are waiting a few days to make a play. I would be interested to see how someone does betting at gm3 or 4 and riding it out for 4-6 games.

If you go back to the middle of this thread you will see that I took NYM +1.5 in gm5. RL really has to be looked at when reaching gm4 of a series.

I was just curious so I got looking at the longest winning streaks so far this year:

Atlanta 10 games
Oakland 9 games
Milwaukee 9 games
Colorado 8 games
Boston 7 games
Detroit, Minnesota, and Cleveland 5 games

Everyone else is 4 games or less. Toronto having the lowest winning streak of '2'.
