Watching this Dodger game -- it's incredible how bad this team is when the game is on the line. They've stranded like 20 runners tonight.

The Giants are everything this franchise isn't.

why pitch to posey w/ a one run lead, on the road, late in the game, w/ two outs and a man in scoring position, and a base open and pence coming up next (who never hits kershaw)? because you're don mattingly and that's how you roll.

One of those nights.

Rockies score three runs in the first two innings and only one the rest of the game. Lose in extras and push on the two-unit TT over 4.

Arizona gives up a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth to doink my FF bet.

Dodgers out-hit the Giants 11-4 and lose 2-1.

I know, but it's not like you can just blacklist teams. Even the Dodgers and Cubs will win 44-50% of the time (maybe). I'd make the Dodger bet again, believe it or not. I have no idea how Zito got away with putting guys on every inning and falling behind as many hitters as he did. The guy's a fvcking wizard. You typically don't get away with that kind of stuff in baseball. I have mad love for the Giants and the way they play, but there's a lot of luck involved with a win like this, along with obviously doing the little things right and beating a team with a fvcking hamburger for a manager.

The point wasn't about winning them all or not. The point was that everyone bets on bad teams from time to time, and they're not always bad bets.

I respect them for that, but it seems like only they can give up 11 hits, 7 walks and one run. They do a lot of the little things right to win games, but they also do a lot of the little things wrong and it doesn't seem to matter.
