I'm not sure it's a winner but I know it's a better play than laying juice on Cashner on the road. Guy is still prone to a big inning even though his stuff is amazing...the control isn't consistently there. Have a feeling gonna be a crazy game.

Hamels, Halladay, Lee know its a long season. They know how long they got to be where they need to be.


They didnt just forget how to pitch. the physical aspect will come around.


With the added wild card and the parity of the league this year i'd say if they can just tread water for now and play close to .500 ball they can start to make a run at a wild card second half of the season.

and possibly make some noise in the playoffs with those 3 aces.

This is going to sound crazy, but I actually think the Houston line is too high and telling us Detroit is the play. At least that's my take. I won't lay that kind of chalk though obviously.
