Adams is already way better than Dunn unless you favor a go who hits under .200 and constantly is at top of the league in strike outs.

There's an excellent comparison to be made, after Matt Adams is in the top 40 all time for HR.

I'm not sure if you're trying to make a point.

Anyway, I'll take a guy that doesn't strike out 2-3 times a game, doesn't hit under .200, and has clutch hits in the playoffs over a guy that his a solo HR every 4th 5th game because he swings as hard as he can with no approach at the plate every at bat.

Matt Adams already has more meaningful home runs than Dunn does.

I got the Cards at 13/2 to win the pennant before the season and I'm not hedging.

The Dodgers are the more talented team but the Cardinals are familiar with the post-season and pretty clutch.

I like their chances. Hopefully the same people that were backing teams like the Phillies, Nationals, and Rangers in recent post-season series against the Cardinals will come out and back LA heavy in this series. Then I'll feel even more confident.

I rescind this statement. The fact Adams hits from left side , the stroke, the power - Adam Dunn popped into my head when I saw the HR on replay. Didn't mean to make any such comparison.

Saw some interesting stats on Intentional Talk, A's are batting around .135 with RISP worst in post season. Tigers are batting .400+ with RISP the best in post season. Also last time A's won a winner take all, 40 years ago!

I doubt Gray makes it much longer. His curve isn't biting because his throwing motion is flat. In other words, he's getting under the ball. Then he overcompensates and they're going right into the dirt.
