Yeah the Cubs should win...might win....but they are so poorly coached and the pen is so bad I just don't see how you make a big play on them with any chalk. I cashed the cubs as big dogs a few times this year but won't lay more than a nickel on them.Originally posted by Pluthero

Absolutely unforgivable how they set up their defensive "shifts". 2 spots easy double play balls went right through the infield because Sveum refuses to set his men in DP position but rather in shift patterns to the opposing hitters. I don't think their pen is that bad especially compared to Milwaukee. Both had ineffective closers that got replaced (I'm not sure if Axford has officially been replaced yet but he's close). I think Camp and the rest of the Cubs pen is mildly effective.Comment -

I really think Locke is underrated and he hopefully shows that this year. Cueto is totally capable of shutting down Pittsburgh, but he wasn't anything special his last time out against Washington. just curious, what % of your br do you play as 1u? In the past i've done 1% = 1u, but I'm starting to find that I have half my br on the sidelines even when i'm down, so I'm considering upping my %/unit. Since you make many multiple unit plays a day, i'm curious to hear your strategyComment -
I do about 1%/unit.
That being said, I'm probably not the best guy to take money management advice from because I play a little too loose and fast with my bankroll, at least with respect to traditional bankroll management theories. You probably already know this, but you should really not risk more than 5% of your BR on any one particular bet. Since I will play as many as 6.5X on a good bet and that bet may be -150 or worse, you could be risking as much as 10% of your BR on one of my plays. So the safe thing would probably be to make it 0.5% / unit.
I definitely wouldn't up it to more than 1% because if there's a day like yesterday where I've got 11 bets on the table, and I play the juice that I typically do, I'm already putting 50% of my BR at risk on one day.Comment -
