MyBookie is a C+ rated online sportsbook that offers players good betting software, promotions, and customer service across a variety of channels.
MyBookie offers new customers a 50% welcome bonus worth up to $1,000 as an incentive to sign up for an account. It previously offered a 100% welcome bonus up to $1,000, but it was reduced to 50% at the time of this MyBookie review. That means you would need to deposit $2,000 of your own money to unlock the full $1,000 bonus. A minimum deposit of $50 is required in order to qualify for this first deposit bonus.
The MyBookie sports bonus has a 10x rollover requirement attached. That means you need to play the bonus through 10 times before you can make a withdrawal. It is also a free play bonus as opposed to a cash bonus. You do not keep your stake if your free bet bonus wins, so it is not as attractive as a cash bonus. Make sure you read the terms and conditions before you take advantage of any sportsbook or casino bonus at this site.
MyBookie does have an alternative welcome bonus available for anyone that does not want to meet a 10x rollover requirement. You can alternatively receive a 10% cash bonus worth up to $200, and you only need to roll the bonus over once before you can make a withdrawal. As it is a cash bonus, you also keep your stake if your bonus wager is successful. This level of welcome bonus flexibility is appealing at MyBookie.
Existing MyBookie customers also receive a 25% sports reload bonus worth up to $500. You would need to deposit $2,000 in order to receive the full $500 bonus. This is a free play bonus with a 5x rollover. Use the promo code MYB25 to unlock the reload bonus. MyBookie also offers an 8% horse racing rebate alongside its bonus offers. You will receive an automatic 8% rebate on any daily losses you incur on horse racing, with the funds deposited into your account the next day. The rollover on this rebate bonus is 1x.
MyBookie will give customers a 250% referral bonus for getting friends and family to sign up for an account. The maximum bonus available is $250, but there is no limit to the number of friends you can refer. There are 150% deposit bonuses worth up to $750 for MyBookie casino, and then you can enjoy daily casino promotion bonuses, like Rebate Special Mondays, Free Spin Wednesdays and Raffle Thursdays. The 300% casino reload bonuses are worth up to $1,500 on a deposit of $100 or more.
MyBookie historically ran one of the quirkiest loyalty programs in the sports betting industry. Sports bettors would rack up MyBookie Points as they played. These points could then be exchanged for a number of bizarre rewards. They included flamethrowers, guns, ramen noodles, Greyhound bus cards, vacations to Montreal and much more. In 2020, the site turned MyBookie Points into My Free Bet Rewards. You now receive one point for straight bets, two points for parlays and 1.5 points for teasers, if bets and reverses. If you place 10 wagers with an average value of $100, you automatically receive a $10 free bet bonus as part of this loyalty program, which might be more appealing than ramen noodles to sports bettors.
MyBookie sportsbook also runs a number of exciting contests. A popular contest is The Squares, which gives NFL, NCAAF, NBA and NCAAB bettors the chance to win extra cash during the season. There is also an annual NFL handicapper contest worth $300,000. All in all, MyBookie provides customers with a wealth of bonuses, promotions and incentives to keep them loyal.
MyBookie launched in 2014 and set about seizing share from established sports betting sites by promoting large bonuses and a quirky loyalty program. It has gained a lot of attention in the ensuing years. The business is based in Costa Rica, and primarily targets US sports fans, but it does welcome customers from most countries. All deposits and withdrawals are in US dollars.
Sportsbook Review gave MyBookie an initial D+ rating when it launched. We received several player complaints regarding withheld payouts and shady activity. We were able to settle some disputes on behalf of bettors, and we met with the MyBookie management in 2014. The MyBookie rating was upgraded to a C- in 2015. The complaints dried up and it was upgraded again to a C+, a rating the sportsbook still holds to this day.
That means MyBookie is not considered one of the best sportsbooks in the business. Betting sites like Bookmaker, Bovada and BetOnline have an A+ rating, so MyBookie falls some way short of that grade. However, it is by no means a blacklisted bookie with an F rating, so we essentially rate it as an average online sports betting site, with some strengths and some weaknesses. We have already touched on some of them in this MyBookie review. Strengths include generous bonuses and loyalty schemes, but weaknesses include narrow payment limits and methods, high fees on some withdrawals and long waiting times if you do not use crypto. The rest of this MyBookie sportsbook review will focus on the strength of the sports betting platform, the sports you can bet on, the live wagering platform, the strength of the use experience, the quality of the odds, the level of customer support you will receive and the online casino games that this online betting site offers.
MyBookie was set up to serve US sports fans, so NFL, NBA, NCAAF and NCAAB are covered extensively. The sportsbook offers a wealth of futures betting options on NFL, including the winner of the Super Bowl, the various conferences and divisions, the regular season MVP and various specials, like whether coaches will be fired. Sports betting fans will generally find 50 props on football games, including margin of victory, highest scoring quarter, first score method and total touchdowns.
NBA games are covered in a similar level of depth. NCAAB coverage is a lot more basic, with just a simple spread on each game. MyBookie also covers basketball games in Europa, South America and Asia. It generally offers a spread, moneyline and totals on college football, but no props. Hockey and baseball are covered pretty comprehensively, as is UFC, making MyBookie.ag a great choice for US sports fans. The site provides betting opportunities on all the big boxing bouts too.
There is a motor sports section, encapsulating NASCAR and Formula 1. Tennis, golf and soccer are also featured prominently at this online betting site. The soccer section covers a huge range of countries. Most online sportsbooks offer betting options on the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, Serie A, MLS and so on, but MyBookie sportsbook covers action in Armenia, Bolivia, China, Ghana, Guatemala, Jordan, Kosovo, Palestine, Tanzania, Zambia and many more obscure footballing nations. When conducting this MyBookie review, we found 30 prop bets on a soccer game taking place in Zambia. Very few online sportsbooks featured in our reviews guide go into this level of depth, so MyBookie sportsbook deserves high praise for providing bettors with great variety.
MyBookie sportsbook has odds on a broad range of sports, including table tennis, rugby, Aussie Rules, volleyball darts, cricket and cycling. There are some notable absences, such as snooker, pool, Gaelic sports, handball, winter sports, chess and athletics, but MyBookie covers the most popular sports very well.
This sportsbook also stands out by offering betting options on a huge range of really quirky events. Some bettors might find them distasteful, but others will relish the opportunity to bet on such strange things. For example, MyBookie provides betting on death matchups. You can bet on who will die first – Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin? Demi Lovato or Artie Lange? David Letterman or Jay Leno? Or will Bill Cosby die in prison? No is listed at +165 and “Hey, Hey, Hey!” is -250.
MyBookie also provides betting on celebrity divorces and break ups. Couples featured at the time of this sportsbook review included Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, and Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden. Religion specials allow you to bet on the next Pope, and you can also bet on the next James Bond and the first organization to send humans to Mars. There is a US politics section, a modest esports section featuring StarCraft and a sports simulations section featuring Madden.
MyBookie has a dedicated section for live betting, featuring tennis, soccer, basketball, hockey, football and a few other sports. Once again, the depth of its coverage is impressive. You can often find a variety of live prop bets on random tennis matches featuring largely unknown players, and live soccer games from Austria to Pakistan. The list of live betting options is generally long and varied, with attractive odds on offer.
The layout of the live betting section is somewhat jumbled and confusing for users. Rival online sportsbooks are a lot more sophisticated when it comes to the presentation of their live wagering platforms. It does not offer live streaming, and users cannot view live, updated stats or an interactive graphic keeping them abreast of developments in the game either. This live betting section could improve by overhauling the layout to make it more user friendly, investing in stats, providing live streaming and covering more sports.
Sports Betting Experience
The user experience is perhaps the greatest shortcoming of the MyBookie sportsbook. It looks pretty attractive, with a white on black color scheme and the odd flourish of orange, but the layout is a bit of a mess. The left of the sportsbook homepage displays featured bets, but some are out of date. The next section takes you to a props builder, which is a great tool, but it is only available on NFL and a few soccer leagues. Then you will see the list of sports covered, but they are not in alphabetical order and it can be time consuming to find the sport you are interested in.
If you click on NFL, you will find separate sections for game odds, player props, first half lines and so on. The prop betting page features a very long list of all the props available on different games, which could prove overwhelming for some users. It feels like there are a lot of unnecessary sections, and it would be neater to simply divide the NFL section into different games. The MyBookie team could also improve when it comes to site maintenance. For example, during Week 13 of the NFL season, we still found links to NFL Week 12 odds on the homepage, along with Week 12 field goal props and so on. That is confusing for bettors. When we clicked on these links, we found Week 13 games displayed.
The list of wagering options on each game could also be presented in a more sophisticated format. There are no shortcuts or sub-categories, so you have to scroll down the page for a long time to find some props. The pages do not load particularly quickly, so once again this is a time-consuming process.
MyBookie lags behind some of the best sportsbooks in the business when it comes to the overall user experience. You will find it quicker and easier to place bets at a site like YouWager or Intertops, and the sports wagering experience is more sophisticated at sites like Bet365 and 888Sport.
However, there are some nice features at MyBookie sportsbook. There is a lively sports news and rumors section, which is often updated with more than 10 articles per day. These articles are well written, engaging and insightful, and it rare to see an online sportsbook providing players with such a large volume of content. The site also features bracket information, educational materials for novice bettors and schedules, while it previously ran a sports betting podcast. You can easily change the odds format and time zone on the site, and the registration process is simple, but effective.
Quality of Odds
MyBookie provides -110 lines on sides and totals for football and basketball, which is pretty standard. Occasionally it will offer -105 on one side of the spread and -115 on the other, so you can find some nickel lines on certain teams. The quality of the moneyline odds on offer at MyBookie is pretty high. Overall it does not quite provide as much value as sportsbooks like Heritage Sports and Pinnacle, which operate on thin margins, but the odds are above average. It occasionally offers market leading moneyline odds on underdogs too, which is worth bearing in mind.
We also assessed the quality of the futures odds and prop betting odds at MyBookie while conducting this review. We found them to be above average once again. It offers more appealing odds on markets like the winner of the Super Bowl than the majority of online gambling sites. If you take advantage of the various bonuses and promotions on offer at this online sportsbook, you will find that MyBookie ag offers a great deal of value.
The minimum bet at MyBookie sportsbook is $2 online and $25 over the phone.
MyBookie has a maximum bet of $1,000, but you can place larger wagers by calling the sportsbook on its toll free number.
Mobile Betting Review
MyBookie does not have a mobile app, but you can access a mobile optimized version of the site direct from your browser on any device. The text is pretty small, so anyone with bad eyesight might struggle, but it does allow MyBookie to pack a lot of information onto each mobile page. That cuts the need for scrolling down. The buttons are quite small, but that will only be an issue for anyone with exceptionally large thumbs. They are sharp and responsive, and pages load pretty quickly.
You can use a carousel at the top of the mobile sportsbook to scroll through popular leagues and events, or tap the button with a basketball, football and puck to be presented with a list of all the sports that MyBookie covers. They are displayed in descending order of popularity, but it might be easier to navigate if it was laid out in alphabetical order. The mobile bet slip is quick and easy to use, and the live wagering platform works well on a range of mobile devices.
MyBookie offers around 100 slots and a variety of table games at its online casino. The casino games are provided by Betsoft Games, Rival Gaming, Visionary iGaming, and Concept Gaming. You will notice that none of the world’s leading software providers are featured on that list, so you will have to find an alternative online casino to play games from the likes of NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, Playtech and Microgaming.
Other online casinos have more variety, but the game quality at the MyBookie casino is pretty good. It has a few new games on offer, alongside a variety of popular slots that have been around for years. The slots section is laid out in a neat and tidy manner, but a search function would be a nice addition. There are 19 different blackjack casino games to play, which is impressive, and it also has American and European roulette, baccarat, craps and a few video poker games. There is no poker room. You will find a handful of jackpot slots, but it does not have the world’s highest paying games, such as Mega Moolah. There is a live casino featuring 13 options. Most of them are blackjack, but you can also play baccarat and roulette with live dealers at the MyBookie online casino.
MyBookie has a very comprehensive racebook featuring action from dozens of racetracks across the United States. It also covers race meetings in Australia, the UK, South Africa, Japan and Sweden, covering thoroughbred and harness racing, plus greyhounds. A separate horse racing section in the sportsbook has futures betting markets.
The MyBookie customer service team is available 24/7 to help with any requests you might have. We tested out the response times for this review, and found them to be quick. You can choose between live chat or email. We would suggest using email only for non-urgent enquires. The live chat service worked really well when we tested it out.
Our review found the customer support staff to be polite, efficient and helpful. We asked a range of questions around the welcome bonus, promotions, sportsbook rules, how to make a first deposit, how to claim a free play, and much more. The customer service representatives were always happy to help, and they seemed knowledgeable.
MyBookie also has a very strong help center, which provides players with a wealth of information about deposit and withdrawal methods, bank wire transfers, bonuses, promotions, online sportsbook rules and much more, so make sure you check it out before contacting customer service. The level of support is really helpful for a novice bettor, but seasoned bettors should also be impressed by the level of care and attention display.
MyBookie had a mixed reputation after launching in 2014. Some customers were treated well and they were extremely positive about the service provided, but others complained about payout issues. We heard several complaints in the early days, but they quickly dried up, and MyBookie has now shown itself to be a trustworthy and reliable operator over several years. It is still a relative newcomer to the world of online sports betting, but we can give it a reasonably positive review based on its commitment to provide reliable payouts. This sportsbook has improved considerably in recent years, and it has the potential to become one of the best sports betting sites in the business if it maintains its upward curve.

MyBookie.ag payout complaint update
Sportsbook Review reported one month ago on a MyBookie.ag payout complaint. A player claimed that his deposit was refunded and he was told he was being sent his winnings through an alternate payout method as the sportsbook identified him as a problem customer. SBR learned from management that the risk department opted to cut ties with the player but that the balance accumulated would be honored. However, as part of the deposit had to be refunded through a third-party processor, a time-frame of 12 to 16 business days was enforced. The player was informed that his refund was processed and sent the remainder of his balance. Sportsbook Review considers the matter resolved. Players with feedback on MyBookie.ag – a new online sportsbook which took its first deposit August 2014 and was initiated with a D+ rating – should write to email@example.com.

Mybookie.ag Sportsbook initiated with D+ initial rating
Mybookie.ag Sportsbook has been assessed with an initial sportsbook rating of D+. SBR reported on 1 September 2014 that the forum community requested the relatively new sportsbook to be evaluated. SBR began a process of collecting information on the sportsbook and surveying feedback from readers that took the time to write in via email or share their thoughts in the SBR Sportsbook & Industry section.
As was indicated in the preliminary review, Mybookie.ag accepted its first sports wager on 1 August 2014, making it a brand new company headed into the fall. SBR confirmed some operational details such as the hosting, location, and setup details of Mybookie.ag, which are accessible in the first report. Mybookie.ag has been given the entry mark of D+ in large part due to uncertainty surrounding their financial backers: The sportsbook is run by some ex-marketing and technical workers as defunct shop BetOnSports, as well as some employees from other industry sportsbooks, but beyond that, Mybookie has been unwilling to go on or off the record concerning why players should feel comfortable scoring a big parlay at their new shop than an established industry sportsbook.
