Sports leagues to bet on

bet365 has a solid offering of markets covered for US customers. In-play betting has become one of the most popular forms of betting across all major sports today, primarily due to bet365 championing it.

It is common to browse the list of available sports at bet365 and see leagues you did not even know existed. That experience of browsing the website for available sporting events for the first time will remind you how widespread bet365's reach is as a global sportsbook provider.

NFL betting 🏈

There is no shortage of markets for NFL fans to bet on at bet365. From plenty of game and player props for each individual matchup, there’s also a large futures market for everything from player awards, receiving yards, rushing yards, and outrights. bet365 will offer you an early payout on all Moneyline bets if your team leads by 17 points or more.

NBA betting 🏀

Fans of the hardcourt are well served at bet365. Outside of the traditional spread, moneyline, and total markets, there are also player props and game props to consider such as first-half bets for the NBA. bet365 also offers an early payout offer for the NBA, with straight bets paid out if the team you pick to win gets a 20-point lead.

College football 🏈

While its offerings may seem small compared to the NFL bets it offers, you will be able to wager on all the FBS Division I college football games, from the major programs to the more obscure schools. While all main markets are available, the prop market is severely lacking compared to other competitors. And just like its NFL markets, take advantage of early payout options.

College basketball 🏀

Similar to its college football offerings, bettors can be assured that they'll be able to wager on all major college basketball games — especially during March Madness. bet365 has a large market of futures to wager on plus regular season and conference tournament action, making it one of the best March Madness betting sites.

NHL betting 🏒

Winter sports fanatics love their hockey, so you’ll find plenty of options to bet on the NHL at bet365. The sportsbook will offer you an automatic payout on ML bets if your team goes up by three goals, a big feature in a volatile sport like hockey. The live betting options for the NHL are extensive, as are the player props offered.

MLB betting ⚾️

bet365 offers a huge array of options to bet on MLB. Along with an early payout feature that pays out when a team goes up five runs, you’ll be able to bet on team, innings, and player props.

Other sports leagues ⚽️

The options of sports to wager on at bet365 are endless. From MMA, Formula 1, NASCAR, tennis, horse racing, cycling, futsal, handball, water polo, and winter sports such as alpine skiing this betting site offers competitive odds on all these sports. Their Golf offerings include all the major championships and bet boosts on various futures throughout the season. However, users have complained about the lack of props from some of these sports, for example, UFC fights.

With its UK roots, it’s not a surprise to see offerings on rugby union, darts, Gaelic sports and they're our pick as one of the best cricket betting sites. And then, of course, there's soccer. In fact, their soccer offerings are where bet365 really shines. While most sportsbooks offer markets for the professional and semi-professional portion of the English football league system, this sportsbook also allows players to bet on lower leagues from other countries such as Italy, Spain, and Germany.

Online betting experience

Website experience

Note: With screenshot above, odds are subject to change.

The bet365 site is packed with bets and easy to navigate. It features a pleasing grey, green, and white color scheme that is agreeable to the eye.

In some of the higher-profile sports like the NFL, it can be hard to find the more obscure props and markets for the game. I would like to see a search feature that makes it easier to find these going forward.

Mobile betting and betting app

The bet365 mobile betting app is one of the easiest to use in the industry, and accurately copies the layout of the desktop website. As of writing, it has just over 25,000 reviews with a 4.6 rating at the Apple App Store. On iPhones, you can even integrate your Face ID with the app for a seamless login experience.

The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play. It also has apps dedicated to its live casino and slot offerings, which could be an inconvenience depending on how often you use these services.

Live betting

bet365 has established itself as one of the world’s most recognizable sportsbooks due to the strength of its live betting experience. It has become more popular than pre-match betting, as you can watch the game, analyze each team's strengths and weaknesses, and make your play from a position of power. bet365 prides itself on offering a robust live betting market.

bet365 offers live streaming for games that you have money on. A funded account is required or a wager placed in the last 24 hours. Few sportsbooks allow you to stream the action live while betting on it, but bet365 has you covered. We’ve found the live betting experience on bet365 seamless compared to other sportsbooks.

Casino, poker, & other gaming options

The bet365 casino is no different from the sports section of the website regarding the sheer depth and breadth of its offering.

From table games to video poker, card games and jackpots, the bet365 casino section is robust. They offer over 850 games, and approximately 264 different slots to choose from, some of which are based on popular shows like The Walking Dead.

bet365 also offers a live casino where you can play blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker. True to its international reputation, you can play these games in Italian, German, Mandarin, Dutch, Greek, Turkish, Brazilian, French, and Romanian. This is most pronounced for their live roulette games. These games are even sorted by minimum stake, from $0.40 - $5 to $50 or more.

On March 28, 2024, bet365 announced it had partnered with 1/ST Technology to deliver a unique horse racing betting experience to U.S. customers.

bet365 history

bet365 became a household name among bettors thanks in large part to its high-profile TV commercials featuring actor Aaron Paul. The sportsbook is also known for sponsoring various soccer clubs, such as English Championship (and former Premier League) side Stoke City — no surprise given how it was founded and is headquartered in the city. In fact, they also own the club and sponsor the stadium.

Customer ratings & reputation

bet365 is one of the most popular sportsbooks around the world, so there are plenty of redeeming qualities about the betting site. Early payouts on NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL games are particularly highly regarded, as there are instances where they will pay out for a win despite the team blowing the lead. Bettors also love the same-game parlays and the mobile app.

The negative reviews are typically related to frequent service outages, problems receiving withdrawals, ID verification, and the app not rendering correctly on all devices like iPad. I had occasional trouble logging into the mobile app when opening it after a period of inactivity, potentially a problem for those who like to live bet (where time is of the essence).

Customer service

bet365 offers customer service in 12 languages as a global brand — unique in the industry. bet365 agents are always available to assist you, and depending on where you live a live chat might be the best way to contact them.

The customer service team can also take you through the website’s privacy policy and security measures. This is a safe, reputable online sportsbook, and it has a long history of protecting customers’ personal and financial details. There is no call feature for customer service.

bet365 legal betting

In the United States, bet365 is regulated by statewide oversight agencies like the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. They have a regulated presence in Ontario and the UK.

Responsible gambling

Gambling can be addictive. bet365 is one of the best in the industry at providing numerous resources for players to promote responsible gambling. Here is a list of some of their recommended partners.

• 800-Gambler: A private non-profit organization providing information, education, and referral services for people affected by a gambling problem.
• National Council on Problem Gambling: A national advocate for programs and services to assist people and families affected by problem gambling.

Why choose bet365?

bet365 is great for casual bettors and for people that are just getting into sports betting. With its ability to parlay almost every bet and its same-game parlays, new bettors will love to put a few dollars on an NFL or NBA game for a big payout. The highly regarded mobile app, the early cashout feature, and bonus credits occasionally offered on marquee events are a big plus.

For more experienced bettors, they will probably be most frustrated by the vig in the ML, spread, and total markets compared to other sportsbooks. Limits on super boosts can be disappointing, and some could argue that the prop market at the big US sportsbooks such as FanDuel and DraftKings has overtaken them.

However, the still wide variety of sports leagues and huge markets to bet on will please both those new to the sports betting space and those already familiar. It always pays to have a bet365 account open and funded.
