I started to bet only some months ago at US style bookmakers : betus (1 bet only), betowi, abcislands, 1vice, JustBet, sbbglobal,... (I am monitoring others too)
(Common: skrill/neteller or bitcoin deposit methods)
BETOWI
1st issue:
They settled one of my tennis (total) bet to lost. There was a retirement in the match. According to their rules they should have cancelled it.
” Tennis: 1.All matchups must be fully completed for action on moneylines, spreads, and totals”
I had to contact them to cancel this bet.
They are ”in the industry for over 15 years” (quote from live ticket reply) and their system is not ready for tennis player retierment (on totals market)? Abcislands/1vice has the same site engine so I cant believe such stories that a sportbookmaker’s automated settlement system has a bug more then years so customers have to ask them to correct bets (if any retirement occours)
I am sure betowi settled my bet to lost on purpose. (I placed a lot of bets so perhaps they thought i wont notice it) They tried to make a little unfair profit on me (and on others who does not keep their eyes on the bet history) but failed.
So what do you think it was on purpose or it was only a simple mistake (of the automated system)?
2nd issue:
It is common at european bookmakers that you have to claim or opt in to get the bonus.
At betowi I have never asked for any bonus/freeplay. But they put it onto my freeplay balance automatically. There is nothing on their site that they will automatically credit customers freeplay balance with the bonus. So you can suppose that you can opt out or refuse the bonus. So you can suppose you can ask the booomaker to remove your freeplay. (if you did not touched it.)
At betowi the real funds and bonus funds are clearly distinct - you can follow when you're betting real vs bonus funds . It means (if the freeplay is untouched then) if i ask to remove the freeplay right away the deposit is the same if i ask to remove it later.
-I asked betowi to remove my freeplay (from my untouched freeplay balance) because they declined my payout request (becasue of rollover requirment) .
-Betowi removed my freeplay
-I requested a payout
-Betowi declined it again (said rollover requirment not completed)
-i opened a new ticket (again) that i do not have to complete any rollover requirment because they removed my freeplay as i asked them 1 day earlier
-After they realized they have to allow my withdrawal in this case they put back the freeplay (to my freeplay account) and said that i had to complete the rollover requirment
What do you think you can ask a Bookmaker to remove untouched automatically credited freeplays (which sits on a distinct balance from your real funds) at any time?
3rd issue:
Until now I placed 189 bets at betowi. More than 80% on player props , team totals and 1st half team total.
But after betowi realized that giving back the freeplay(not to be able withdrawal) wont be enough (I made $4000 from $600) they took away/removed all the above markets from my account.
I asked them to give back those markets or remove the freeplay but they declined both.
What do you think it is fair to take away customers ”favorite” markets not to be able to complete rollover requirments as fast as they can? (So they have to place bets on such markets they do not know, so the chance to lose is much higher and this is what the bookmaker wants)
4th isssue:
”BAD LINE POLICY : In the event that a player makes a wager on an incorrect Line the “Sportsbook” has the right to cancel the wager and refund all money bet.”
Betowi deleted one of my winner bet. Said it was line error. Removed it from my betting history. (But at that time i made screenshots on my bets so i noticed one of my bet was missing.)
According to their rules they had to cancel it, if it really was a line error. (you cant convince a bookmaker that it was not if they already cancelled it) So I could see it in my betting histroy with cancelled bet status. With cancelling it would count into the rollover requirments, with deleting it does not count. (fair or unfair? )
What do you think it should have cancelled to count into the rollover requirments or deleting was the best solution ?
I will/can complete the rollover requirments (only about $2800 left from $13000 ).
But i think there will be another issue (5th) on payout.
Betowi allows only $500 (equivalent) bitcoin withdrawal.
”You will receive your Bitcoins in 1-3 business days after the payout has been accepted.”
They always declined my payout requests within 12 hours. But next time (next week) they have to accept it. (after i completed the rollover requirments)
So perhaps i have to make 7 payouts ($3500) and if betowi complete it only after 3 business days one by one then it could take 3 weeks or more.
(At abcislands i could withdraw more than $1500, via live chat in 1 step, i got it to my bitcoin address before i could close the live chat window)
