    Heritage Sports statement on Bitcoin

Heritage Sports is making Bitcoin deposits available on a Beta testing basis.

For information on Bitcoin, we suggest you review the following. https://bitcoin.org/

Customers wishing to deposit using Bitcoin are asked to contact our Client Services Support staff via chat or email for Bitcoin instructions. While we launch this new payment process, we will be analyzing the demand and viability of the method. Upon increased demand we will automate the process to be included in our cashier page.

Bitcoin will be converted to USD$ for wagering in your Heritage account. The conversion will be based on the BPI (Bitcoin Price Index) at the time the deposit is confirmed using the attached resource. http://www.coindesk.com/price/

Withdrawals may be requested via Bitcoin and are upon availability. Only customers that have deposited via this method can receive Bitcoin withdrawals. Deposits and withdrawals are free of charge via the Bitcoin method, however, if other payout methods are utilized, applicable fees may apply.

Deposits can be made 7 days a week. Withdrawals requests are processed during our regular payout schedule. The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount is $100 USD equivalent.

If you have any additional questions, please contact our support team!
Let us know your feedback and if you plan on taking part in the beta process. We will be adding Heritage to the bitcoin sportsbooks page.

Possibly, but there's such a difference between the real bitcoin books and the old school books are now accepting bitcoins.

Real bitcoin books don't operate like old books in any way, you don't have some guy calling you begging for deposits, you don't have to sign up for anything, you don't have to worry about getting limited, transactions are instantaneous with no minimum or maximum sizes, you don't have to tie up funds at all.

Currently I keep large amounts in every available book just in case there's a line I need to hit.

With bitcoins I can keep my exposure very small, as I can immediately move money out of one book and into another, you're basically always funded.

Until the old books develop that sort of functionality, bitcoin books will have an edge.

ya i agree, but it seems like the major books are making moves to get to that point. if i was a founder in nitrogen, my dream world would be one where there would be btc books that operate the current ways that they do and main stream books that operate the way that they do. neither one ever crossing paths.

Heritage still doesn't take U.S. customers, correct? And do they require various Know Your Customer type of confirmations? If so, not much of a threat to the true BTC books like Nitrogen then, at least as far as the U.S. market is concerned....

With bitcoin books its trivial to get down as much as you would like on any line if you're savvy.

I don't understand why don't you get limited if you make a lot of money? It's not an exchange like betfair?

Just to clarify, we are not currently accepting NEW US business, however, if you had a Betjamaica account or Greek account up to 2011, there is a chance we have your information in our database and you are welcome to play.

Also, if you had an account at some point and stopped playing or the account became dormant, it is possible to reactivate your account.

    I hope that helps.

    Because it's anonymous.

If they were to shutdown your account, you can just send from a new (bitcoin) address.

There's a bitcoin newb thread in playerstalk I believe where it is explained.

It's better and faster than neteller ever was.

interesting move from them, may have to give them another look. haven't played there in a couple years, things were really going down hill, but this is a positive sign.

The bitcoin books aren't worried about the cash books, the cash books are worried about the bitcoin books.

Bitcoin books have less overhead so many are reduced juice. They also have more offerings than the cash books in CR.

    In the NFL

    Nitrogen -105
    Betcoinsports -105
Jetwin -108 with more pregame offerings than any other cash book in CR.
Anonibet and BetVIP have true live wagering in the NFL and baseball. They don't wait for commercials like the cash books in CR.

No 3rd party processors or waiting for a control number with bitcoin books. No personal information, all anonymous.

Some give cash bonuses, not free plays. Anonibet opened in 2011 so they seem to be very safe. They had a head start building a customer base. BetVIP has a 100% cash bonus.

Some day bitcoin books will be advertising on SBR. Only the top cash books will survive. The B, C and D books are in trouble.

There are a lot of bitcoin exchanges. Most are new and I wouldn't recommend playing at any of them since they are all new. Nitrogen is a book and an exchange so they are fine. No liquidity yet but it would be great to get some.

Most new small shops go under. They are one or two man shops setting up ponzi schemes. Others have bigger staffs and I think will stick around.

Another good thing about bitcoin books is that you don't have to keep a big balance and be exposed to more than you are betting. It's easy and fast to get money in and out.

In the NFL on Sundays 1 PM EST and 4 PM EST play to play?

With some of the bitcoin books they have a lot more live offerings. They have alt spreads and totals, 2 and 3 way betting, race to (race to 35 pts, race to 40 pts), spread and total next quarter, double chance and a few more. It's similar to what the European cash books.

I don't understand why European books have more live betting options in the NFL and baseball than the books that target American markets.

Even pregame bitcoin book Jetwin has 52 markets each game for preseason NHL.

Use btc deposit at Heritage late Sunday Afternoon

Withdrew a few btc from Nitro... took 15 mins to hit wallet - longer than usual

Used Heritage Chat for Sammy's 1st btc deposit. First guy had to send Sammy to another. Then it went smooth. At present Heritage manually handles btc transactions. Took 1 hour before deposit showed in balance. They said automated (sorta like Nitro) btc transactions is just around the corner if there is a demand for it

All in all was a smooth transaction

Did you play poker at Nitro before withdrawing? If you play poker, the withdrawal must be manually approved as opposed to it being instantaneous. I suppose that is a fraud protection thing, but who knows. I had a similar experience when I withdrew my balance on Sunday. I know 15 minutes is light years faster than any other book I've ever withdrawn from, but now they have me used to it being instantaneous...
