    Nitrogen Sports (bitcoin) is awesome.

    Sportsbook Review bitcoin information page

I've been betting online for almost 10 years now. I have had accounts at nearly every single book rated C and above (and unfortunately some rated D and below). In March, after maxing out at both W..U.. and M..G.. online, I found out about bitcoin. It's funny - Bet OWI (cash book that sucks ass) actually helped me get started with bitcoin because all of my other deposit options were exhausted. After them refusing to send a payout back to me via bitcoin (even though that's how I deposited), I started looking for other books that accepted bitcoin.

I found Nitrogen Sports and have not placed a bet with any other book since.

Nitrogen's lines are not ideal. They don't have a dime line for baseball, and some of the other sports moneylines are pretty juiced up. There are no deposit bonuses (but -- on the flipside -- that means no fukkin rollover to meet)

    BUT.......
    1) I can deposit instantly (I buy bitcoin with Viisa on coin.mx OR with coinbase.com using my bank account)
    2) And this is really the best part ----- INSTANT PAYOUTS. Yes, my bitcoin is back in my coinbase.com wallet literally SECONDS after I click withdraw. It is completely automated. There are no identity verification bullshit checks that go on at other books. You don't get the "processor delay" run around. The only thing you get is your funds --- instantly. If you send them to coinbase, they can be back to your bank account in USD within 2 days. AWESOME
    3) The line selection can't be beat. Every event under the sun is offered here. You can even bet on nerds playing Warcraft.
    4) Limits: I'm not a huge bettor, but they allow for up to 2 BTC on every event --- which comes out to around $1000 at the moment. They raise them upon request
    5) Security is better than you get at any regular cash book. Not only do you have a login/password, you can attach something called "2 factor authorization", which requires you to enter a 6 digit code that is sent to your mobile device.
    6) They have a betfair-like exchange for MLB/NFL/Tennis, but it is a piece of shit (still in its infancy)

I'll be happy to answer any questions about Nitrogen or bitcoin in general.

    **************************

Bitcoin is a major change for those that have dealt with cash for their entire lives, but I can almost promise you that if you try it, you will NEVER go back.

If the odds don't stack up sufficiently to permit a reasonable opportunity to profit they clearly fail the "awesome" test regardless of whatever currency issues they may solve.

Agreed, but I don't really think the odds or juice is unfavorable. For the most part, their odds are identical to Pinnacle's. So much so that it wouldn't surprise me if there were a connection between the two....

    Interesting.
Seems to be at odds with the OP's comments:
"Nitrogen's lines are not ideal. They don't have a dime line for baseball, and some of the other sports moneylines are pretty juiced up"?

That's true, but open up Nitrogen and look at their lines and then look at Pinnacle's. I'm not saying they are identical for every sport, but they certainly are for the sports I care about...

Edit by Admin: SBR has published a bitcoin information page and is collecting information and feedback from users. We will also be increasing coverage on bitcoin and asking users to submit complaints and feedback to further shape bitcoin exclusive shop ratings, as well as conducting off-line research on the financials behind the establishments.

Serious question. Why are they not rated by SBR?

Well, for anyone that deals with payout fees at cash books AND waiting 2+ weeks to get your cash (with no certainty that it will even come), I think the semi-shitty baseball lines are a fair trade off.

Well if you still think you can make a go of it at those odds, go with it.
But personally I wouldn't be playing at any books which charge payout fees or didn't do same day payouts.

Nitrogen has instant deposits and withdrawals. The chart gives a run down on all books.

    Hi guys,

SBR has published a beta bitcoin page or guide if you will. Right now we are still collecting information on the shops and considering your feedback on what you think is relevant. We will increase the coverage of bitcoin in our news feed as well and encourage users to submit their feedback or complaints.

In my opinion it's best to stay with the top rated established books. Many of the new small shops have gone under. All they need is some pirated software to open up. Then it's the same as the fiat books. They can go under and just open under another brand. Some of the bitcoin books are associated with fiat books.

The following are books that have gone under or stiffed players:

    BetCas F
    Bitcoinsport F
    Bitcoinlivebets F
    Coinbet F
    Sportbet.im F
    StakeBTC F
    Blockbet F
    Bitbook F
    Webetcoins F

For bonus hunters Jetwin has a 100% bonus and it's not free play. They have 20+ offerings in the NFL including double chance, alt HT, etc. to go with -105 totals.

I'm currently working my way through the Jetwin bonus. So far I have been impressed, juice is reasonable on most popular sports but on less popular ones there is heavy juice. The site also automatically tracks your rollover and how much more you need to rollover before withdrawal so it is easy to track. Will try and remember to update you guys when time comes to withdraw.

Also should mention they are very quick to grade most sports which I appreciate.

Then I like Betcoinsports and Jetwin.

You should have Nitrogen, Betcoinsports and Jetwin for the NFL to have all bases covered. Advantages for each.

I'm from the U.S. It is fairly easy to buy bitcoins, but it is a process. You will have to register with an exchange or Coinbase to buy bitcoins. It is not difficult, but they do require you to verify your identity (most exchanges make you send pictures of your ID and proof of address), but Coinbase is more automated. Then you'll have to get money to the exchange (wire, A.C.H. transfer, etc) which takes time. If you use Coinbase (most convenient for U.S. people), then they will not immediately deliver your bitcoins on the first purchase, but make you wait nearly a week (eventually you'll qualify for instant purchase). Alternativley, you could use a bitcoin ATM or localbitcoins.org and have your bitcoins in a matter of minutes or hours.

Once you have bitcoins, transfer them to a wallet not at an exchange, etc. It takes a few minutes to set up a wallet at blockinfo.org and then transferring the bitcoins is near instantaneous. Next, you can deposit into nitrogen instantaneously and withdraw instantaneously as well. Super, super easy.

So the only process that will take any significant amount of time is acquiring the bitcoins (though the process is easy to do). After that, it is super easy and quick.

thanks! I ended up going to coin.mx to buy bitcoins, made an account and did their verification process which didn't take long at all. 5 mins later I had the bitcoins in my wallet. deposited into nitrogen and was credited 10 secs later. Very quick process! do make sure to make a optional username and pw because when you delete cookies your original account is gone... (learning this now and talking to support as we speak.

Almost all my action goes to bitcoin books. I like a lot of the fiat books but the 3rd party processors and delays can be frustrating.

The other thing is with instant deposits, there is no need to keep a large balance at any bitcoin book. The most you can lose is the action that you have out there if you choose.
