The rebate was not changed the rebate is still being offered but we are simply giving our clients a chance to choose from the 20% monthly rebate with the lower bonuses or the seasonal rebate with a much higher bonus upfront.

We recently let go of certain employees , unfortunately after we did threads like this one and the one I am linking below started appearing.

Our payouts have been going out like clockwork and we are currently upgrading our software so that we may offer a larger betting cart , overnight lines on all mayor sports , adding tracks to our racebook.

Far from folding we are actually trying to upgrade and expand our services.

And 5d is willing to provide you with this info on request? !? To my knowledge, no US facing book is open to clients with their books...and if they were, I'd question their integrity.

Last time I checked, even the strongest of books is highly sensitive about processors and owners...doubly so right before US elections with a ton of local prosecuters who love a big cash seizure to show off.

Djefferis made a great point. No one knows anything about the owners of the books. Maybe I was a little hard on Betislands. They have been a great book for me. I just don't understand why everyone quit or got fired. I liked having someone without a heavy accent, someone who I was able to understand who even knew something about American sports to talk to. I would feel better if the current staff had stayed on. And btw, I live in Oklahoma, not Costa Rica.

Yeah? Who was the majority owner? There were some sports gambling related arrests a few weeks ago and the names are all out in the open. No secrets there. So who was this guy? You signed up to post this, so if you can't back it up you're a complete waste of everybody's time.

Betislands is a great book. I haven't had any major problems with them and when a problem comes up it is fixed very quickly. The fast payouts are definitely the #1 reason I play there though

If you were in Jon's shoes, wouldn't you make an emphatic denial of the OP's claim? Saying it was 100% false and that no one from BI was ever arrested in the US for anything? I find that mildly interesting.

All who suddenly open an account like within the last 5 days and their only post is to say they aren't playing at betislands anymore.

Seems true they just fired people.

If not Jon would of tried to throw a bonus at them or something for being unahppy, instead of telling SBR they aren't real.

Gonna stay out of this one but the winds are ripe with rumours. Hope jons reply is accurate and everyone can keep going with a great customer service out... but things change. Have to wait an see if Jon can man handle this situation for the good of all.

I however love betislands and have been doing business with them for over a year now! I have came to know several reps personally like Ryan and Bob who always shoot you straight! matter of fact i got a payout today from them took them less then 7hrs to get it too me! I have so much faith in them i would move from small Mississippi to costa rica and work for these guys! They told me today they are making changes for the good and i agreed with them about that they now have a sales staff and customer service and also a wagering staff all now taking calls, and you can understand the people over the phone as well unlike most books ex: youwager so trust me betislands isn't going anywhere they are only getting stronger!! Ryan and John i know you see this and your welcome

BI originated from or at least was connected to JAZZ/ABC.
We all know what happened to these, anyone thinking BI is a safe book is naive.
A top book doesn't have to promote themselves here all the time like Jon does, really how obvious can it get we all had that before here with books like BP and many others.

my conclusion to betislands is they are still safe book to play with.... they will not steal your money at least anytime soon, meaning their finacial status is still strong imo.. but their customer service is lacking compare to before and their payout system is not so great. and one big thing I don't like about this book is it's so hard to get a hold of Jon. or at least it was hard. and all the other ppl did not had much of power to do anything except Jon..... again, I don't know how it works now.

Jon likes to offer certain thing to certain players then not honor them..You do the math..Don't email him personally though or through SBR you'll never get one reply. I'm sure hes out looking for financial backers

Who does? He offers one thing to one player and something different to another. Yet when you try to get whatever was offered CS has no clue! Its a joke really anymore. I'm sure you get cold called like me and then try to get an offer and they have no clue what Jon has done. One things for sure he won't reply or explain shit anymore. So who does know how it works? CS doesn't

Whenever Ive tried calling to ask to speak to Jon, he for the most part available, or calls me back promtly. I very much trust this book and they seem to have a new system where wagering answers the phone, which I prefer. I second the the notion that this book is in fact on the rise.
