the gym I go to doesn't even have one that I'm aware of, and I'm just fine with that.

I go to the gym to lose fat and gain muscle, and the steam room accomplishes neither of those.

I do my workout with the bike, free weights, leg press, etc. and then leave. I shower at home because I'm not interested in group showers.
