Why did they open the sign up from Saturday? There would be many pissed off posters on Monday morning again when they log in and find out the tourneys are full again. Many posters with families don't post on the weekends.

I don't know if the room is open at all today, can't take a seat and SBR_Poker and Poker_Test were playing a NL200 game. Nice to see HUSNGs though.

Tourneys should open at 9:00 am on the day of the tourney for 1 pm tourney and at 5:00 pm for the 9 pm tourney. I bet you 20% of the people who signed up early will be no shows. We had 3 guys on our table yesterday afternoon on autofold.

Then SBR runs the chance of not having full participation. We all have different schedules, allowing more time for sign-up gives everyone an equal chance. The Early bird is a mother ********.

Bingo. SBR Poker runs so ass-backwards, it's ridiculous.

Twice, during last weeks 1pm tourney, we had 3 people actively playing on the table. People signed up for Tues/Wed/Thurs at the same time, didn't show up and didn't care to unregister themselves.

That sounds all well and good, but when 25% of the registered players don't show up to play...it kind of deflates your claim. How many members does SBR have? I've seen more than 90 people posting at 4am...I'm pretty sure they can fill up 90 seats in a 4-5 hour window.

If you are going to allow early sign ups you have to punish no shows from playing the next week. It's unacceptable to have a 20-25% no show rate when there are 50 people who want to play but can't sign up.

Yeah there were quite a few no shows at my tables last week. Was not around yesterday so of course missed a chance to sign up for Monday. Don't know why they don't allow more players. Oh well it's a free contest so I am not going to complain. Will just have to wait and hopefully get a seat for Tuesday.
