Just not a good question. A moneyline dog allows u to risk $100 to win a bigger amount. +200 means u can turn $100 into $300.

But it's not a question of Vig. It's not like you're getting a free shot. It's a question of whether you're getting value.

Exactly, that was what I was trying to say. In practice, some Moneyline Dogs are the worst plays around.

Of course there's vig on underdogs. If a book calculates the "correct" odds on a team to win as, say, 33%, then that team should win one out of every three times.

At the same bet size per bet, a bettor breaks even when he wins 1 out of 3 times if the payout odds are +200.

At about 33% chance to win, any odds paying more than +200 (say +205) represent value and could be played. However, any odds paying less than +200 (say +195) are shorting the winning dog bettor payout by an amount that would be considered the commission, or vig.

There is vig on everything (on all sides) offered by casino/sportsbook for you to bet. If you think otherwise, then it is 100% certain that you are a lifetime losing gambler.

Most american gamblers think juice means the extra money you pay on favorites to win x amount.

I agree. There is vig on both sides. Also, you are wrong about American gamblers. It's ALL gamblers.
