Tournament Series Structure

• Four daily tournaments Mon-Fri September 19 to Wed. Jan 4. 3PM, 7PM, 9PM, 11PM ET. SBR Pros play for free, non-pros 6 point buy-in.
  
• The top 100 players* in points won advance to the Poker Championship on Sat. January 7 at 5PM ET.

Championship Prizes
1st. $5,000
2nd. 35,000 betpoints
3rd. 27,000 betpoints
4th. 23,000 betpoints
5th. 17,500 betpoints
6th. 12,500 betpoints
7th. 10,000 betpoints
8th. 6,500 betpoints
9th. 5,000 betpoints
10th. 3,500 betpoints
11th. 3,000 betpoints
12th. 2,500 betpoints
13th. 2,000 betpoints
14th. 1,500 betpoints
15th. 1,000 betpoints

The $5,000 Cash prize will be paid in bitcoin. On the morning of Monday, January 9, SBR will send payment to the winner via bitcoin. The exchange rate used will be the price SBR paid to acquire the bitcoins that same morning.

Fine-print
1. One account per household. Players who operate multiple accounts or are otherwise restricted from the forum during the qualification period may lose their eligibility at the discretion of SBR.
2. Must be an SBR Pro by Jan 1 to receive championship password.
3. *In the event that there are ties for the 100th spot, tiebreaker will be # of Cashes. If still tied, the earlier SBR Forum join date.

92o is a better hand than AA in SBR poker. Treat SBR poker like black jack, double down on 11.

This. It's so lopsided from 1st to 2nd place. I wish sbr would allow deals in chat, but they need the ability to pause the software.

I'd prefer more of a normal payout structure at least for the top 3 at least but it's their call.

Going to take a lot of luck and skill. At a bare minimum we need more starting chips and a longer structure.

I know people Say it's free and quit complaining etc. I understand that, but I'm a pro, support the site, and we put a lot of time into these things for one shot with 2000 chips and a crapshoot
