the tourneys are supposed to be mon to fri as stated above. however April 18th is a saturday and the 19th is sunday. is this an error, and the final day will be on friday the 17th, or there will be 2 extra tourneys on the 18th and 19th.

please clarify this now, so everybody knows when the end date will be.

furthermore, you will have to post now, so it will be fair for everybody, what will
be the tiebreaker , for #50 , because you might have anywhere from 2 to 20 players tied for the last open spot. will there be an extra playoff ? will they draw straws , or will they duel till the last one stands?

Spider to answer your questions you are correct there was an error in the dates posted.
"There will be 3 SBR Poker tournaments Mon-Fri from Jan 19 to April 19" - the last Friday is indeed April 17 in this date range, Douglas' post had a typo.
"The top 50 players in total points won during the tournament schedule will advance to the championship on Saturday April 25 at 3PM ET.".... There will be no tiebreaker.

So Friday 4/17 will be the last qualifying tournaments

PLUS, 51-55 are really all tied for 50th... BECAUSE... inexplicably, POS69 continues to be listed.

or if no 50 till no 59 for example have the same no of points, they will all qualify?

so the final will have a minimum of 50 players but could have more depending on ties.

with 8 days from 4/17 to 4/25, there is time to double check scores and then have a playoff for those tied at 50.

say #47 thru #55 end up tied - let those 9 play and top 4 become 47 thru 50 - other 5 are out.

It doesn't seem fair to those above 47 to have all 9 get in. And it's not fair to those 9 to have none get in.

1. All it takes is 2 peeps being tied for 50th... highly probable and there's no stated mechanism to resolve that. Probably be an issue of concern to those 2, I would think. (if there's only 2, could obv be more than that)

Where I'm from the person offering the bet sets the odds but how much you want to lay down? Ive got 200 to your 1000 that says at least 2 players tied by the end if you're interested.

What happened is we got spoiled with all the value we were offered and as soon as SBR changed the format to more standard we realized how good we had it.

I agree the old way was too easy to cash but 500 first and 200 second is not standard. Second usually at least 50% of first and I try to play in structures that are closer to 60%. 2 second place finishes gets 80% of one first here at SBR and to me that's silly.
