Baseball is back; 3 Plays for Friday
Marlins ML +115 for 1.5 Units

Eovaldi has been pretty solid for the Fish this year. Bumgarner has been good but his last 4 starts have all been shaky. Miami pulls this one out at home.

White Sox ML -150 for 1 Unit; RL +145 for .5 Units

Quintana looks like the real deal. I will continue to ride him.

Mariners ML +130 for 1.5 Units

I've been riding Iwakuma all year. No reason to stop now. Tough matchup here but I'll stick with the M's.

            Couple of contrarian thoughts.

Weaver's .202 BAA at home is 13th best among all MLB starters. Could be a tight one though Weaver's home peripherals suggest regression is in the offing.

Bumgarner excels on the road. His 1.98 away ERA is 7th best in MLB; his .217 road BAA is 15th best. Marlins have fared pretty well vs. Bumgarner mostly in the person of Giancarlo Stanton (.636 vs. Bumgarner but no HRs); if he can work around Stanton he should be fine.

Eovaldi's home numbers are a middling 4.04 1.24 .279. Eovaldi has also fared much better in day games vs. night, when opposing bats hit him at an alarming .297. Giants are hitting Eovaldi at .405 and clobbered him for 9 H and 6 R in 4.1 IP the last matchup.

            Eovaldi's ERA in 4 GS vs. SF -- 12.27 with a 2.24 WHIP.

Also considerinng SF's 24-18 road record and the tight NL West race I'll lay a little juice on the Giants. Laying off SEA LAA. BOL.

Weavers been an automatic play at home for me for like 4 years now this guy just doesnt lose at home. I'll take my chances with him and especially the under.

i see "value" in these picks. But iwakuma at +130? that seems like a trap or something

i feel like he is +130 for a reason... Angels are swinging hot bats right now.

Iwakuma is +130 because everyone knows that the public will jump on Weaver pitching at home, does someone really think that this line should have been more evenly distributed?? Whoever wants to impulsively jump on the Angels with Weaver pitching at home as an automatic pick should do it. I rather take a different approach and the total here. GLTA.

I am also on Miami, but on the other side in the mAriners game.

This next week will be a funny week. All trends going into the All-Star break tend to reverse the first week back....which is why I am not sure why I think the Angels touch up Iwakuma....that's just my gut.

ironically funny coming from a destitute brokedikkk who has to dumpster dive to make ends meet. still cant come up with $100 to turn pro.

I always wait to see the line ups before placing a bet. And this is one I'm regretting really bad. Yesterday iwakuma was as high as +135 . And today it's an even split bet at +111 . Really kicking my self . Will still lay money on mariners but I was looking forward to the +135 line

speaking of abandoned threads that one kid crustycumglaze ditched her ncaa football thread after tanking 155 units. This documented and we have evidence that would suggest that crusty is homeless and/or has aids.

Sea@LAA over 7.5 runs since one pitcher will give up some runs (I would be more than delighted if Weaver is the one giving up the runs) I assume most people finally looked into Weaver's numbers versus Seattle to find out that he is not a automatic winner at home hence shifting Seattle from +130/135 to about +110. GLTA and don't take everything too seriously (like winning or losing).

Mariners might be an OK play with the pitcher they have going but LAA is one of the hottest teams in baseball and has a ton more offense. I'll probably lay off.

I thought Twizzle had a season thread? Is that sill going?

Seattle has great pitcher with one of the top bullpen. Angel's Avg against Iwakuma is a .198 and Seattles Avg against Weaver is a .266

Seattle today and tmr with Hernandez on the mount. I'd make a parlay with one slot open for tmr game. Maybe 2 slots.. the other for Kershaw vs the cardinals tmr
