This will be a good team. They have a nice young core with guys like Hosmer, Butler, Gordon, Moustakas, etc. James Shields is one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball and one of the names to keep an eye on is Yordano Ventura. He's a great young arm and I think he will emerge as a star. Guy throws absolute gas.
the team is built more around speed then power...and their weakness will be around their pitching staff after the No.3 spot. Vargas and Bruce Chen are the 4 and 5 guys and that's where the breakdown will occur. Also Ned Yost is a trainwreck in handling the pitching staff...so when the first injury happens Danny Duffy will be the guy who fills in. If KC falls out of the race early the big question is will they put James Shields on the trading block at the deadline because signing him for big bucks is almost out of the question at his asking price because the KC owner is a cheap fuk...and he's one of the Wal-Mart owners
