SBR World Poker Cup 2011


Playing Schedule (July 4th — July 7th)

• Nine tournaments per day registering from 12:00PM-8:00PM EDT (view schedule). Each event will be password protected. Your SBR Poker usernames will be altered to include your region.
• 4 players per tournament (1 player from each region). It will be the responsibility of each team to decide amongst each other which time interval suits them best. Players may compete in only one tournament per day. In the event that multiple players within a region enter the same tournament, no points will be earned for their team. Players may not share the password with players that have not qualified under any circumstance - no points will be counted for that region.

Scoring details

• Each tournament will award 2 points for the winning poster's team, and 1 point for the runner-ups team. Co-champions will be crowned in the event of a tie with an equal division of the pot.
• A leaderboard will be maintained in Players Talk showing how many points each team has.

Actually some decent value playing the dogs. I believe these games are Heads Up, which is a whole different beast than 60 man's. Luck comes less into play.

I think you'll have to do something like this:

0.47 on Europe
0.28 on Canada
0.25 on World

This reduces to a -250 bet... the vig is ridiculous.

also lou please put somethin up to allow betting of placements of individual posters over/under what place or things like that, it would be a nice prop that i would definitly bet on, say for me am i gonna place over/under 2.5 out of the 4 possible places for the night and such

note to bettors, this is a 4 man no limit poker with each player starting with presumably 100 or more big blinds. So this is actually a POKER tourny not a donkeyshove tourny. Some players from USA from my opinion are folding freaks and we can exploit that so that when they rarely raise we fold and soon in order to not lose blinds they have to loosen up and thats when they're out of their comfort zone and that's when we'll pick em off bet canada people!

These tournaments are basically pure luck by the time you get to the final table. It is either all-in or fold.
