bad night, for a bad card.. tonight's card isn't very good either.
Going to be more careful taking road teams .. Omaha didn't fare
well on the road to Air Force. The real shocker was Brown beating
Providence. Brown did this by going 10-23 on 3's, 24-55 on FG's.
Have to remember defense vulnerable with Providence.

Davis did good work.
Despite Belmont loss, it would have been a winning night if
Michigan could have beaten Eastern Michigan. Went 11/12 on that

My two favorite games tonight are Providence and St. Peters.
Both teams are at home, although the Providence game is sure
to have URI fans present. I like Providence because their loss to Brown
was a fluke. Brown was very hot with 3's and the Friars just didn't look
to have the synergy with Lindsey and Dunn too recently back from injuries.
Although URI shows talent this year, it's unlikely that the Friars will lose 2 games
consecutively at the Civic Center to in-state opponents.
Lindsey and Dunn should be in better form.
I'm sure coach Cooley has something planned.
I can see Desrosiers frustrating Matthews, and Henton and Harris being
a little too much for the URI defense.
St. Peters has one of their top players back, Desi Washington.
Princeton is winless on the road with losses at Mason, Lafayette and Dickinson.

Friars have gone back to -165 ML but I have them at -155. St. Peter's i have
at +102 but they are +110 now.

PC let URI back into the game but persevered in the end, winning by 8.
St. Peter's commanded the second half and Desi Washington led the scoring
in his return. Maryland did their job but UCLA allowed Riverside to take the
1h on their home court.
It appears to me that this year's teams are not very good in comparison to
recent years. This is a general observation but the quality of basketball
hasn't been on par with what we are accustomed to.

just took my first real beating of the year with Seton Hall.
Team I watched didn't show up. Bore no resemblance to other games I saw.
Their zone defense was torn apart. They couldn't make shots. They were clueless.
Surely they were road weary, but I question their ability to do anything special
this year now. Will probably just be a middle-range Big East team and nothing more.
If you are a Georgia watcher I wouldn't read into this win too much, though.
