Want relevant info? Penn state is 5-10 in tip off tournaments since like 2005. They're taking on a team returning 4 starters, who can really play ball.
penn state just does historically bad in tip off tourneys while the niners usually live for these things.
Last year they beat kansas state AND michigan on their way to winning the Puerto Rico tip off.
Penn state also is adjusting to life without stud PG tim frazier. Easier said than done.
