Well no, I wasnt suggesting to take WVU ML...I just try to only take dogs ATS that I feel can win outright so the points are just insurrance as opposed to sweating out a potential backdoor cover, know what I mean?

I know what you mean, but I totally disagree with it. I have taken MANY big underdogs that I expect to be competitive without necessarily winning the game.

In terms if probability of winning, I would say an 8. In terms of being a good bet, I would say a 2. +8 is not a good teaser number, there are too many dead numbers you are going through.

Ohh big dogs are different. I def will taje a big dog that I expect to keep it close, I was refering to single digit dogs particularly 7/8 points or less. Speaking of big dogs, how do you feel about Rutgers?

I don't like Rutgers in Columbus, it could get ugly. Maybe next time, let them get their feet wet on the road vs. the Big Ten big boys first.

I can say im shocked to see you on Houston - 7, a big home favorite laying a touchdown, to someone who rarely plays favorites.
Houston may be the most inconsistent team in NCAAF. Played one complete game all season (@ BYU), ironically.
Lost outright as home favorites to UTSA and Central Florida. Temple arguably better than both those two teams and now there getting 7 points.
This line has me, I could argue Temple should be a small road favorite here, not a touchdown dog.

Not only do I LOVE Houston (that's right, we are talking LOVE here), but they are my best bet of the week, which is rare for a weeknight game. And what is so shocking, Cougars should be an obvious play just based on scheduling alone.

So many reasons, where to start?
For starters, Temple has faced one team ranked in the Sagarin Top 100 so far, and that was the game they lost (Navy). And just the fact that a team like Navy is the best team they have faced so far should tell you a lot. Sagarain rates all teams whether they are FBS or FCS, and Temple has faced a schedule ranked 176th in SOS. There are only 128 FBS teams! And even with that ridiculously soft schedule, Owls are still just 97th in the country in total offense. Yes they are 22nd in total defense, but that number is bogus because of the competition.
Don't put so much weight on Houston losing to UTSA, that was the first game of the season with the ineffective O'Korn at quarterback. You alluded to Houston covering at BYU (with Taysom Hill), and since then they outgained UCF by over 100 yards in the 5-point loss and won on the road at Memphis. All three of those teams are significantly better than any team Temple has faced this year.
Plus Houston's new starting QB Ward is getting better every week and he gives the Cougars' offense more flexibility because of his running ability.

When was the last time Baylor's defense stopped a good offense. even going back to last year? Yes they have great defensive stats, but they accumulate those vs. the weaker teams they face. Look what happened when they faced a real offense in TCU last week, and that was at home. Well, West Virginia is eighth in the country in total offense so they will score points. Obviously Baylor can score on anyone, but West Virginia is better defending the pass than the run and Morgantown can be a nightmare for visiting teams. I see both teams scoring but a very close game at the end. And no I would not bet the Over at 80.
