    Demian Maia vs Gunnar Nelson is an interesting match up just because Gunnar Nelson is very solid with this grappling.. Still gotta like Demian Maia going into this one..

    Max Holloway probably takes out Jeremy Stephens as well.. This might be closer fight then many might think though... Jeremy Stephens is always a very tough out...

    People got smart, that was the shittiest PPV event I've seen in years.. It's fitting that the box office draw was for crap... I'm still a bit surprised that it didn't do better considering the Frank Mir vs Arlovski match up.. Still this should have been a fight night event rather then a PPV.. No one wanted to see another 5 round patty cake points match between Mouse and Dodson..

    I swear I turned it off after the 3rd round and left out for the night.. I've never done that as far back as I can remember..

    I got Cruz winning this match up and maybe by knock out.. Just depends how much ring rust D Cruz has going in?..

    My guess is he'll show no cage rust as I remember him coming off previous long injury layoffs before and looking very good...

    Weed is practically legal in California as well.. He lives in Stockton.. LOL... 5 years suspension for weed is a travesty.... Weed is not a PED... Helps with pain and sleep that's it...

    I don't like Nick Diaz, this is probably Karma coming around full circle for all the bullshit he and his brother Nate spewed out their mouths thru the years if it holds up...

    I personally won't miss him as he can't wrestle, can't beat guys like Carlos Condit or Anderson Silva standing either as proven in the past.. He would have never been in contention for a UFC championship again anyways.....

    Bellator will take him.. We'll see him fight again relax fellas..

    That is exactly why it is not allowed for any athletes.

    As I have posted many times here, I am all for legalization of pot, but allowing fighters to use it and have no way of knowing if they are high or not during their fight is a liability for their safety and their opponent's safety, just like if you own a construction company and you allow you employees to smoke pot and one of them gets hurt, then they sue you because you let them work while high.

    Suspending him for 5 years is ridiculous, but he knew the rules and continued to break them. He was the master of his own destiny.

    1. you have never got high before clearly which is ok but you'd be better taking advice than giving your opinion here. No one is getting high during before a fight and the pain relief weed offers you isn't going to help with pain induced during a fight. It is weed, it is not novacane that spreads through your body lol...

    2. Do you have any examples of your legal hypothetical there because legally it makes no logical sense?

    Kermit, as it goes for pain and sleep relief Advil works way better then high grade weed.. I've smoked weed off and on recreationally for 25 years and I know this from experience.. If I had a wicked abscess tooth pain I'd run for over the counter pain killers before weed.. Combine both even better though...

    I'd much rather take 800 mgg (4 advil pills) of Ibuprofen then 2 monster bong load coughers all day long.. Even Benedril works better then weed to relieve pain or sleep problems also.. That's keeping it real.. It's a joke really...

    Nick Diaz is bored and smoking weed in his off time for pleasure and didn't show discipline and the rules are the rules.. That's it...
