I'm shocked, borderline devastated, I thought he was going to be the next big thing, he was going to be the next big thing.

RIP Jose, you left us way to early.

Trying to figure out what happened. More than likely they were going fishing. You gotta be out there early. Just a real bummer though. Was a great pitcher and seemed like an even better guy.

absolutely devastating, i feel the loss im a yankees fan and i recall when munson died this kid was only 24 its so hard to imagine how his mom and family feel at this point , his girl friend who is pregnant they lost a loved one , but as a fan of baseball i feel like the mlb family has lost a truly gifte talent as well as a great person to represent the mlb in a jeter like way this kid had it all.rest in peace jose fernandez u were taken to early but heaven probably needed a angel :{ god bless your family and ur girl friend and your unborn child
