I like your rationale. It may be worth the risk, and I hope it wins for you...I'm trying to stick to a new approach of not discounting contradicting queries no matter how many are active for opposing team...
If it let's me whiddle down my 6-8 picks a day to 4 or 5, and if doing so increases wins/ROI, then I'll stick to that MO...

Pretty much what I do as well. I also like to look how a team is currently performing (current year) within a winning situation. Also pitcher in that role. Average margin of victory or loss(fade) and it's current line vs past historical line I look as well.
