i actually leaned muts but not playing them, i never trust garza to not run his pitch count up and be gone by the 6th.think hefner has pitched pretty well lately and hell when the last time scrubbies have swept a road series? i know they havnt done it this yr...i dunno they both suck which prob why im passing but if you making me id prob play muts.. might play over but again id prob be better off passing...i just started looking at phi/col gm, def see why you like philly, still not finished with it but i guess what i dont like is i hate when a team opens as a dog and money drives them to favs which looks like it might happen here, i tend to side with where book made the line at open more than what the money does to it later. to the point where if i finish and like phi i will more than likely pass if they close as favs..

i cant do it..but then again i havnt liked cards all series.. still not huge lyons believer although it seems cards are.. i never know wtf nolasco gonna bring. almost gotta expect him to be solid with them making the total 7.5 juiced to over when they could have easily hung a 8 and got plenty of over money.

im not betting them so maybe not so nuts. think i would prob rather play fish ff than gm just cause cards tend to wear on pitchers and their pen tough so id think if fish dont cash the ff rl then they prob in trouble for gm.. i dunno, i thought coming in this might be the series they finally lose but after fish scored 7 yesterday and lost im not so sure. wont get any letup with the series tied 1-1 as cards are all about winning series.

yea i saw that as well... i dunno why i remember him pitching well vs cards, he must have at least 1 good 1 in there if not a couple cause i know im not imagining this.. i wouldnt let me stop you cause i mean they could very easily go out there and smash fish again, i thought it would take a cards a couple times thru yesterday to get that kid and ya see how that went.. im certainly not playing fish with cards needing the win to get the series.. any ideea if roof windows are open/closed? closed id imagine?

No, you're not imagining it, Nolasco 0 ER (2 R) last 12 2/3 IP vs Cards, and his last 3 starts vs them have been good. That's part of my hesitation. I'm passing. If i play big chalk today, it would be something like a Cueto + Holland parlay (which is +128).

i seriously still dont trust lyons either, i mean cards smarter than me and they kept him up but not sure if that was as much about him or protecting wacha as he still really young/fresh out of college and still needs to work on a 3rd pitch. but every time i watch this kid im usually left wondering how he didt give up more, his breaking stuff really doesnt look tht good on tv anyway yet guys seem top roll over on it quite a bit so i guess he hides it well or been fortunate, still not sure which..

prob one of biggest reasons i didnt play them on the rl at least.

lastros +118..this is pretty simple, wrong team is getting the plus money imo. hou scores 4.46 rpg against lefties while chisux couldnt hit a lefty to save their lives, mustering barely 3 rpg against them on the season while hitting a impressive .229 and have a less than .300 obp against them, it gets worse if you can believe it! down to barely 2 rpg a .192 ba and a .262 obp off lefties of late. if that all wasnt enough we also getting the better of the 2 lefties on the side of the dog..kuechel has pitched well lately and performed much closer to what his peripherals would suggest while there simply no way santiago gonna maintain that 3.12 era with his walk rate alone, add in the fact hou hits lefties while any1 who can get it over the plate left handed prob has a shot of shutting down the sox, to me if you take away the lastro name they prob deserve to be slight favs here so ill take +118 all day, even if it means backing the improbable of hou winning 3 gms in a row at home!

muts-1 +138..i cant stomach laying any type of juice on the muts so i will risk a push rather than eat 14 cents, lol.. lean over as well so i guess giving the run not as bad as it would be if i thought this be low scoring. Garza is a mental midget, dudes stuff is good no 1 can deny that but he refuses to learn how to pitch thus he will have 8ks and 4 walks by the 5 inning and pretty much be spent, not exactly a ground ball pitcher either and strong wind blowing out in ny today. ive seen hefner a few times recently and to me he has pitched better than his 1-6 record would indicate, i think he can give me a quality start here while garza be gone before the 6th is over. give me the muts to avoid suffering the indignity of being the 1st team to be swept by scrubbies at home all yr..

I would submit that Yadi is one of the most important position players in baseball. No way does a 10c line move properly account for his impact. It's like me in hoops.

No doubt. I'm just saying that i don't want to back Cards without Yadi on principle (i'd argue that Cards minus Yadi cannot offer any "value"). So glad that I didn't play RL earlier, i'd be kicking myself.

casual bettors tend to always bet cards , kinda like yankees, so years they really good they gonna prob do ok.. i try not to worry bout such things at all but with cards i take it even less into account cause they just one of those teams that majority of the time gonna have a strong public backing, not much u can do about it, plus as i like to say cards love squares, sharps not so much (which prob why i tend to have success with them, lol ) .. far as this gm tho i dunno, gun to my head i would be on your side of this one cause this 1st series i came into in quite a while where i didnt go in thinking i could expect a couple wins outta stl.. really wanna play under but such a scary bet with a low number and cards bats lately. ill prob end up on under, lol. hoping price on 8 gets a little better still as not thrilled paying -110 for it.

cards/fish un 8 -111. hate paying juice on this but appears it not getting better anytime soon. talked about this gm enough, i think nolasco can come out and limit cards, lyons has the benefit of fish not hitting lefties, think we talking about a 4-3 type gm.

For what it's worth, rain may not be that big an issue for Tribe game. Rain was supposed to stop mid-morning and has stopped at my house (i live east of downtown and weather generally moves west to east here), and chance during the game is 30%.
