Arsenal has the third-best home record in the Premier League this season, with four wins, one draw and one defeat from six games.

That defeat came against league leader Chelsea in August when the Gunners were missing half of their first team due to injuries and a COVID-19 outbreak. They were on an eight-game unbeaten run before losing 4-0 to Liverpool last weekend, but they should bounce back against a Newcastle team that sits at the bottom of the table.

There is renewed optimism among Magpies fans after the Saudi takeover and the decision to bring in Eddie Howe. He replaced Steve Bruce in the dugout, but Newcastle cannot improve the squad until the January transfer window opens. As such, they look ill-equipped to deal with Arsenal.

Tottenham to beat Burnley (+100)

The arrival of new manager Antonio Conte’s has had a galvanizing effect on Tottenham’s players.

The Italian coach is a serial winner, and he has quickly turned things around following a messy start to the season under previous manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Hotspur beat Burnley home and away last season, and then beat the Clarets 1-0 at Turf Moor in the EFL Cup last month.

Burnley have improved in recent weeks, and they are unbeaten over their last three games, but it remains in the relegation zone, and Tottenham should edge this one thanks to their attacking talent.

Chelsea to beat Man Utd & Over 1.5 (-110)

Man U is a mess right now. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired after presiding over a disastrous run of form, but the club did not have a replacement.

Michael Carrick has taken the reins on an interim basis, but he has no managerial experience, and he is unlikely to have much joy against an astute tactician like Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel.

The Blues are top of the table, with nine wins, two draws, and just one defeat from 12 games. They thumped Juventus 4-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday, and forwards Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are now back from injury.

Man Utd lost four of their last five Premier League games, and captain Harry Maguire will be suspended after he was sent off in a 4-1 defeat to Watford last weekend, so Chelsea really should prevail.
