Top Expert Team Prop Picks

Blues team total Over 3.5 goals (-105) – Gilbert

The St. Louis Blues are the highest-scoring team in the league with 4.67 goals per game (28 goals in six games). The Chicago Blackhawks allow the most goals in the league at 4.5 per game (36 in eight games). In fact, Chicago has allowed four or more goals in seven of their eight games thus far. That includes a 6-3 loss in Carolina last night. The Blues will be ready to tee off against their tired rivals.

Panthers Under 2.5 goals (-105) – Johnson

The undefeated Florida Panthers will be invading Beantown on Saturday night for a rematch with the Boston Bruins. These two clubs squared off on Wednesday and Florida skated away with a 4-1 decision. But tonight's affair should look quite a bit different. Aside from the venue change, the Bruins will be the more well-rested team after the Panthers had to go to overtime to secure a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings last night. Lastly, there's a revenge factor in play for the Bruins and we expect Florida will come out flat and gassed which is why we will be betting Under 2.5 goals for Florida.

Red Wings to score first (+150) – McLaren

The Red Wings took a 3-2 overtime loss on home ice against the Panthers on Friday and visit Toronto on the short turnaround. The Maple Leafs have been off since Wednesday's unimpressive 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks snapped a four-game losing skid. Toronto is second in the NHL with a 55.47 Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5, however, Detroit's 53.10 percent rate of expected goals for at full strength is right on the heels of Toronto's 53.71 percent rate.

The Red Wings may tire out later in the game, but they'll have an earlier edge when facing former goalie Petr Mrazek who's drawing the start for the Buds. The Leafs haven't faced Red Wings' projected starter Thomas Greiss since the 2017-18 season when he was with the New York Islanders.

Top Expert Player Prop Picks

Giroux Over 0.5 points (-124) – Gilbert

Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux has points in each of his team's six games this season. Giroux has four goals and four assists for eight points through six contests. The 33-year-old forward has come out of the gates on fire this season and should continue that against the Calgary Flames. Giroux plays on the Flyers' top line and most action runs through him on the top power-play unit.

Coyle to score (+330) – Johnson

Charlie Coyle was the only Bruin to light the lamp in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Panthers and, as the old saying goes, there's nothing sweeter than a repeater. DraftKings is giving us a healthy return on the 10-year veteran to score and we will happily take it. Bet Coyle to score anytime during the game.

Rodrigues to score (+235) – McLaren

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby is a big piece of this prop pick, but he's expected to play on Saturday despite being listed as a game-time decision due to a wrist injury. So long as he plays, full-strength linemates Rodrigues and Jake Guentzel are likely to pick up a few extra shots on goal with Crosby playing even more of a distributor role.

Rodrigues has a 62.03 percent Corsi For rating at 5-on-5, and he centers the second power-play unit. He has 22 shots on goal and three goals through seven games. Keep riding the hot hand against expected New Jersey Devils starter Scott Wedgewood and his .878 save percentage through two outings. The Devils are just 29th with a 66.67 percent penalty-kill success rate.
