Despite battling a plethora of injuries, the Los Angeles Chargers seek a fourth straight victory in their Week 7 home date with the Seattle Seahawks. Read on for our top Seahawks-Chargers picks.

The Chargers have won three straight games, over the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, and Denver Broncos, coming into Week 7. They'll face a tougher test on Sunday against the surprisingly 3-3 Seahawks.

Seattle has been favored just once this season, when it lost outright to the Atlanta Falcons, but is 3-3 after an upset victory over the Arizona Cardinals last week. Surprisingly tied for the lead in the NFC West with QB Geno Smith, the Seahawks are once again sizable underdogs in Week 7.

Seahawks vs. Chargers ATS Pick

Seahawks +5 (-110) ★★★★★

The Chargers will most likely win this one, but it won’t be easy and there’s a good chance it'll be close. These teams are similar in many stats, with Seattle averaging 356.0 total yards per game while Los Angeles averages 374.8, for example. What sets the Chargers apart, however, is how they’ve managed to win despite injuries.

Some of their biggest losses have already been named, but others like starting quarterback Justin Herbert (rib cartilage fracture during Week 1) have never left the field. Herbert’s health looks like it slightly affected him recently, which may be why L.A. won by a field goal or less in each of their last two games.

Seahawks vs. Chargers O/U Pick

Over 50.5 (-110) ★★★★

All signs point to this matchup being a shootout that eclipses the Over. The Seahawks are tied an NFL ninth in points per game (24.3), tied for 11th in passing TDs (9), and have given up the third-most points (27.2) to opponents this season.

Similarly, the Chargers are tied for 12th in PPG (23.5), tied for eighth in passing TDs (11), and surrendered the seventh-most points (25.3) to opponents. Naturally, the absence of several key defensive players also adds to the likelihood of the Over cashing. If Herbert’s play isn’t as effective as usual, he can always lean on star running back Austin Ekeler.

Seahawks vs. Chargers Prop Pick

Metcalf anytime touchdown (+145) ★★★★★

Many thought top Seattle wideout DK Metcalf would see his play suffer following the departure of long-time Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, yet Metcalf hasn’t missed a beat under new slinger Geno Smith. The 24-year-old wideout has been an absolute target monster, never drawing fewer than six in a single game this season including a pair of contests with 10+ looks.

Metcalf caught just two touchdowns this season, but it’s not for lack of trying as he leads the team with nine red zone targets – aka a 34.6% red zone target share. Smith counts on Metcalf in key scoring situations, meaning his chances of hitting pay dirt are good in what should be a high-scoring affair.
