💰 My best NFL Week 1 moneyline bets

Broncos (+124) vs. Chiefs ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't think anyone is expecting the Broncos to duplicate their 14-win campaign from last season, but Denver still fields one of the league's most complete teams. That includes an elite defense that will face Patrick Mahomes in his first game after a torn ACL.

There are far more questions facing the Chiefs than the Broncos entering the 2026 season, making Denver the safe moneyline pick on Monday Night Football - even at Arrowhead Stadium. The Broncos were one of the best road teams last year, rattling off six straight victories outside of Denver.

Packers (+102) vs. Vikings ⭐⭐⭐

Betting in Week 1 is less about projection for me and more about banking on what we've already seen and know. That means I'm fading Kyler Murray in his Vikings debut against a Green Bay squad that is being slept on.

Josh Jacobs' absence will surely be felt for the Packers, but Green Bay's passing attack is poised to pick up the slack for what is lost in the run game. The talented trio of Christian Watson, Jaylen Reed, and Matthew Golden is healthy and will have better chemistry with quarterback Jordan Love now that they will get more offensive snaps amid a thinned-out wide receiver room.

Cowboys (-162) vs. Giants ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dak Prescott holds a 14-3 career record against the Giants and hasn't lost to New York in a game he's started and finished since his rookie season in 2016. This Cowboys offense may be the most loaded Prescott has led in his career, featuring the NFL's No. 1 receiving duo. New York's talent-poor secondary will have no answer for CeeDee Lamb and George Picks as Dallas marches up and down the field at will.

There's a ton of optimism for the Giants under John Harbaugh, but expect Big Blue's turnaround to take time.
