The New York Jets sit at a surprising 4-2 through six games and visit the 2-4 Denver Broncos in Week 7. Read on for our top Jets-Broncos picks of the week.

The Broncos have shown little sign of life on offense this season under new head coach Nathaniel Hackett. Losing running back Javonte Williams and quarterback Russell Wilson to injuries in the last couple of weeks is unlikely to improve matters, but Brett Rypien will get his chance at the helm of the offense against the surprising Jets.

Sophomore quarterback Zach Wilson hasn't looked overly impressive under center since returning from injury in Week 4,  but the Jets are 3-0 with their starter back at the controls. That includes last week's shocking 27-10 upset of the Green Bay Packers at hostile Lambeau Field.

Jets vs. Broncos ML Pick

Jets ML (+106) ★★★★★

It’s incredibly surprising to see the Jets listed as underdogs, given the Broncos haven’t done anything to inspire much confidence all season. Maybe the sportsbooks know something we don’t, but this value is simply too difficult to pass up.

Denver’s defense has been among the NFL's best, including a fifth-ranked passing D and fourth-ranked scoring. Unfortunately, the Broncos have also been dead last in scoring offense – averaging just 15.2 points per game. Being at home doesn't help the Broncos much either, as fans are quick to boo their own team following every failed execution. Denver is essentially cooked unless Wilson can somehow re-find his old form.

Jets vs. Broncos O/U Pick

Over 38.0 (-110) ★★★★

There are a lot of things pointing towards a low-scoring game, but 37.5 is still a very low total by league standards. The Jets have hit the Over in 50% of their games, while the Broncos have only done so once all season – one of the likely sources of such a low line that dropped six points since opening.

A reason for optimism, however, is that the Jets’ offense can legitimately compete against good defenses. For example, they managed to score 27 against a Packers team that only yields 20.5 PPG to opponents. Even a handful of field goals on Denver’s end should be enough to propel the final score to 38 combined points or more.

Jets vs. Broncos Prop Pick

Hall & Carter 200+ rush yards & 2+ rush TDs combined (+900) ★★★★

New York running back Michael Carter dominated the back field during the early going this season, but Week 6 was rookie RB Breece Hall’s official coming out party. This prop is definitely a bit of a dagger throw, but the Broncos are also a middling rush defense team. Since Denver has the league's fifth-best passing D, New York would be smart to keep things on the ground.

The Jets are tied an NFL third with eight rushing touchdowns, and while the odds are long, there's certainly a path to this prop smashing. With such generous boosted odds, it can’t hurt to throw a little something on it. Especially since these two backs will absorb the lion’s share of offensive snaps.
