We look at who will triumph at TD Garden when the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics clash for the fifth time in 2023-24 as we make our Pacers vs. Celtics NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers have played each other four times in 2023-24, and the season series is tied 2-2. The Pacers were without Tyrese Haliburton for the first matchup, which resulted in a 51-point Celtics victory at home. The next three matchups were played in Indiana, and the Pacers went 2-1. Haliburton injured his hamstring in the most recent head-to-head with Boston, but he’s expected to play Tuesday.

The likelihood of Al Horford resting during the second night of a back-to-back set for the Celtics arises, especially after his participation in the game on Monday. Kristaps Porzingis has missed two straight games and is questionable. With Luke Kornet also banged up, the Celtics’ frontcourt could be severely shorthanded once again.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have each scored at least 30 points in three of four matchups with Indiana, and we’ll wager that at least one of the pair will stay hot tonight. Pascal Siakam has been a great addition to Indiana’s roster, and he’s led the team to three straight victories.

Can Indiana win the rubber match and make it four in a row?

To complement our 76ers-Warriors NBA player props, here are our best Pacers vs. Celtics NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Pacers vs. Celtics props

Jaylen Brown Over 22.5 points (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brown averages 22.6 points per game on the season, so he needs to be average tonight to cash this prop. Over his last seven, Brown has averaged just 18.4 points and scored 23 or more once, which gives us an advantage on a mispriced line.

Brown has faced Indiana four times this season. The Celtics won 155-104 in the first meeting, and Brown posted 16 points in 25 minutes. In the three competitive games that followed, he scored at least 30 points, averaging 33.7.

All three were played at Indiana, but Brown is slightly better at home, averaging 23.1 there compared to 22.1 on the road. The Pacers allow the third most points to opponents (122.8) overall and the most on the road (125.5). We’ll bank on Brown bouncing back from his recent slump and staying hot against a Pacers team he’s torched this season.

Pascal Siakam Over 28.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Siakam has been great since arriving in Indy. In six games, the former Raptor has averaged 21.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists with his new team. Siakam has gone for at least 29 PRAs in his last four and five of his previous six. He’s had to carry the team in five of those games with Tyrese Haliburton on the sidelines. Still, with Haliburton expected to return, Siakam should have some breathing room and continue to succeed against a tough defense.

Boston offers a challenge defensively, particularly in the paint, as the Celtics have allowed the 11th fewest paint points (47.8) this season. The team has surrendered 54.7 across their last three, including 58 to the Pelicans on Monday. Porzingis and Kornet are banged up, and it’s unclear if Al Horford will play on consecutive nights. Myles Turner is also dealing with an injury, meaning Siakam could see more action at center against a depleted frontcourt playing its second game in as many days. The big man is set up for success tonight, and his line is far too low. This feels like easy money, considering his strong play since joining the Pacers and a number of positive factors working in his favor.

Derrick White Over 23.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

White has averaged 16.7 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in 13 games without Kristaps Porzingis this season, and with Porzingis banged up and questionable to play tonight, we’re taking our chances on a White PRAs prop. In those 13 games without Porzingis, White cashed this prop eight times. He’s averaging 15.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on the season overall, good for 24.3 PRAs.

White hit this mark in four of his last seven overall, in games with and without Porzingis available. White averaged 23 PRAs in four games against Boston this season. In those contests, he hit exactly 23 PRAs once and 24 or more twice. Boston is the fourth-slowest team this season, while Indiana is the second-fastest in pace. These teams have averaged 247.3 total points in four matchups, and there should be plenty of opportunities for White to cash this prop, regardless of Porzingis’ availability. If Porzingis sits, that boosts the appeal of this prop even more.
