I don't want to overreact to Week 0, but FSU's secondary allowing New Mexico State QB Trey Hedden to go 26-for-42 passing for 272 yards is hard to ignore.

Florida State was a 31.5-point betting favorite and only beat New Mexico State by 17 points, with the Seminoles' underperforming secondary being one of the most important factors behind that non-cover.

If Florida State allowed Hedden to throw for 272 yards, imagine what Jennings will be able to do as a 2.5-point favorite. Jennings Over 265.5 passing yards (-115) is the best line available among the top college football betting sites.

Ousmane Kromah Over 56.5 rushing yards (-114)

While Florida State didn't cover in Week 0, there was a silver lining: Kromah. He rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.

With Florida State quarterback Ashton Daniels underperforming - he was 17-for-27 passing for 202 yards with a touchdown and an interception - we'll likely see Kromah's role in the offense increase. The sophomore back is Mike Norvell's best chance at keeping his job (for another week).

Kromah Over 56.5 rushing yards (-114) at FanDuel is the best line available among the top sports betting sites.

Yamir Knight Over 0.5 touchdowns (+175)

This is a derivative of Jennings' passing yards. While both can hit simultaneously, this also protects us if SMU's running game is more productive than expected and Jennings is only effective in the red zone.

Knight had 637 receiving yards with five touchdowns last season, and the senior wide receiver will likely be Jennings' go-to target in the passing game. Florida State allowed two passing touchdowns to 31.5-point underdog New Mexico State last week, and if Jennings throws for two or more touchdowns, one will likely be to Knight.
