Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson decided he would waive his no-trade clause to be dealt to the Cleveland Browns on Friday, according to multiple reports.

As a result, Cleveland’s odds to win Super Bowl LVII have dropped significantly following the news at major sportsbooks. 

Additionally, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport tweeted the details of Watson’s record-breaking contract agreement with the Browns on Friday.

While final details of what Cleveland will be sending to Houston in exchange for Watson should surface sooner than later, NFL Network host Tom Pelissero tweeted an initial outline of the assets the Browns traded to the Texans.

A grand jury declined to indict Watson after an investigation from lawsuits filed by 22 women accusing him of harassment and sexual assault stemming from massage incidents, while rumors what team the three-time Pro-Bowler would play with next have been swirling for the past week.

Watson last played in the 2020 season when his 4,823 passing yards, 8.9 yards per attempt and 12.6 yards per completion paced the NFL. His resume also includes winning the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship.
