The title race in Serie A has been arguably the best in Europe this season, and it took another twist on Wednesday.

Inter Milan's shocking 2-1 defeat to Bologna saw they fail to pick up any points and as a result, are now two points behind bitter rivals A.C. Milan for the title with four games to play.

Inter's Ivan Perisic scored in the third minute and Bologna's Marko Arnautovic, a former Inter player, scored in the 28th to tie it up.

It was shaping up to end in a draw before a mistake from Inter's backup goalkeeper Andrei Radu resulted in the winning goal for Bologna.

Accordingly, the sportsbooks have now adjusted and now make Milan the favorites to win their first Serie A title since 2011 — although not by as much as you would think.

On April 18, Inter was -250 on DraftKings Sportsbook with Milan at +300. As recently as a few days before their loss to Bologna, Inter was priced as low as -430 to win the title at FanDuel Sportsbook, likely confident that they would beat Bologna in that very game and go top of the table.

That obviously did not happen, and now Inter are trailing by two without the tiebreaker with four games to go for each team. Thus the sudden shift in the odds.

But Inter are not overwhelming underdogs still for one likely reason — they have an easier schedule to close out the season.

Inter's remaining schedule is away to Udinese, at home to Empoli, away to relegation candidate Cagliari, and end the season at home against Sampdoria. A very soft and winnable list of games, although one could argue that their game against Bologna was also very winnable on paper.

In contrast, Milan's fixture list to close out the campaign is home to Fiorentina, away to Hellas Verona, at home to Atalanta, and close out with a trip to face Sassuolo. A much tougher test, but Milan will be assured that as long as they match the result of Inter the rest of the season, they will be champions.

Caesars Sportsbook currently has the most faith in Milan winning the title, pricing them at -140 and Inter at +100.
