Coming off a 12-win season, the Dallas Cowboys are not generating a lot of interest to win the NFC East at +115, according to Caesars.

There may be some justification, at least when it comes to recent history in the NFC East, as the last time that a team won the division in back-to-back seasons was the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003-2004.

It’s not like the Cowboys are suddenly void of talent. Quarterback Dak Prescott and running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard give Dallas a strong backfield.

Even after trading wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns, the Cowboys still have CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, James Washington, and rookie Jalen Tolbert offering a decent group of receivers to give Dallas sufficient offensive balance. The offensive line ought to be a strength and linebacker Micah Parsons gives them a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball.

It is still a quality team, and they are the favorites to win the NFC East. But bettors appear to be finding more value with other NFC East clubs.

The primary challenger appears to be the Philadelphia Eagles. They traded for wide receiver A.J. Brown and bolstered their defense with the additions of linebackers Kyzir White and Haason Reddick as well as cornerback James Bradberry. Will that be enough for Philadelphia to overtake Dallas at the top of the division?

While the Washington Commanders and New York Giants are not necessarily as close, there might be more appeal to the higher payout for those teams, especially when it comes to a division that has been very difficult to win in consecutive seasons.

Keep in mind, that Caesars is making it well known that the Cowboys are not drawing money. That means they would like to receive more bets on Dallas. One way to do that would be to offer more attractive prices on the Cowboys to capture the NFC East.
