Another bettor cashed in even larger relative to what he laid when he placed a $100 wager on Smart when he was listed at +50000 to win $50,000.

Smart is the first guard to win the award since Gary Payton did it in the mid-90s.
He ranked fifth among guards league-wide with a 105.2 defensive rating and first in loose balls recovered, averaging 1.1 per game.
Though a hefty underdog to win the award preseason, Smart had moved as high as +160 Monday at BetMGM to win, signaling he was poised to take the award home.
