It's something that state legislations nationwide and our best sports betting sites both prioritize: responsible gaming. With the NFL season kicking off in just a couple of days, the sports betting behemoth BetMGM has committed to pushing its message at NFL stadiums for another season.

BetMGM was among the first sports betting operators to promote responsible gaming when it launched its messages within NFL stadiums just last season. It announced in a press release on Friday that it would run it back in nine stadiums:

Responsible Gaming Education Month

September marks the start of Responsible Gaming Education Month, so it is little surprise that BetMGM is once again partnering with the American Gaming Association to promote its messaging.

A particular focus will be paid to GameSense, a responsible gaming program licensed to MGM Resorts in 2017. The program focuses on "positive, transparent, and proactive engagements with guests and customers about how to gamble responsibly," according to the press release. The program was developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, which offers ProLine sports betting in a province with a legal BC sports betting scene.

"We're excited to bring responsible gaming initiatives directly to fans in these NFL venues again this season," said BetMGM's Chief Compliance Officer Rhea Loney, in the press release.

"We are setting a new standard for safety and awareness in the industry. At BetMGM, we believe that protecting our players and promoting responsible play is essential to the future of sports betting."

BetMGM and the AGA

BetMGM was founded in 2018 following a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc. It has access to all of MGM's land-based and online sports betting and is represented by major brands such as BetMGM, Borgata Casino, Party Casino, and Party Poker.

It's an exciting time of year for the sports betting giant, which recently released a number of new features ahead of the NFL season. It also paid out a huge jackpot in the NJ online casino market near the end of August, as one lucky customer claimed the $6.5 million prize. The BetMGM bonus code makes it an attractive sportsbook and casino for iGaming customers.

The AGA is a national trade group that represents the U.S. casino industry. It helps guide the $261 billion industry and supports 1.8 million jobs nationwide between commercial and tribal casino operators, sports betting, iGaming companies, and gaming suppliers.
