5 Luka Doncic Props to Watch for in Game 1 vs. Suns
The Dallas Mavericks visit the Phoenix Suns (-5.5) at Footprint Center for Game 1 of their second-round series Monday, and Dallas point guard Luka Doncic has a handful of player props at various sportsbooks for prospective bettors to consider.
Dallas is an underdog in Game 1 and to win the series (+240) against the Suns at FanDuel Sportsbook.
It’s also worth noting the Mavericks are +2000 to win the NBA Championship, and Doncic is +2100 to win the NBA Finals MVP Award at the sportsbook. For added context, Doncic’s MVP odds are the seventh shortest, and Dallas’ championship odds are the sixth lowest.

Doncic recorded 29 points, 10.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 3.7 three-pointers per game through the final three games of the first-round series against the Utah Jazz, after missing the first three games of the matchup with a calf injury.
It’s also worth noting Doncic proved his health with 42 minutes of action in the series-deciding Game 6 win over the Jazz.
The three-time All-Star posted 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 3.1 three-pointers per game during the regular season, including recording 28 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and two three-pointers in his lone game against Phoenix.
Here’s a quick peek at Doncic’s player prop totals at DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars Sportsbooks.

The three sportsbooks have consensus totals across the four noted props, and there isn’t a lot of disparity in the offered odds. Interestingly, DraftKings is offering the best price for both Doncic’s rebounds and three-pointers props, as the book rarely lists the best line for bettors.

Phoenix didn’t impress defensively during Round 1 and currently rank last among remaining teams in defensive rating. However, the Suns did finish third in defensive rating during the regular season while allowing the ninth fewest points per game.
It will be interesting to see if there’s statistical correction defensively ahead for Phoenix against the Mavs, and if they can limit Doncic.Make sure to keep an eye on our Live Odds page throughout the week to get the best lines possible and connect with others in the SBR community on our popular sports betting forum.
