The Phoenix Suns (-6.5) host the New Orleans Pelicans at Footprint Center for Game 5 of their first-round series Tuesday - and Phoenix point guard Chris Paul has several player props available at various sportsbooks for prospective bettors.

The series is tied at 2-2, and Paul struggled in Game 4 with just four points, three rebounds, and 11 assists in the losing effort - but the Suns are still -290 favorites to win the first-round series against New Orleans at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Paul has averaged 19.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 12.3 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per game through four games against the Pelicans in the playoffs, and he posted a 14.7/4.4/10.8/1.0 line during the regular season.

Of course, it has to be noted that Sunday's poor Game 4 performance significantly impacts Paul's postseason points average.

Still, even with that underwhelming showing, Paul currently has the sixth shortest odds to win the NBA Finals MVP Award at +1000 at Caesars Sportsbook.

Here's a quick peek at Paul's player prop totals at DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars Sportsbooks.

The immediate takeaway is Paul's 12.5 assist total, as he's reached double-digit dimes in all four games against the Pelicans. However, he's only cleared the highlighted Game 5 total twice.

It's also worth noting Paul has never been a go-to shooter from behind the arc, and he's shooting just 20% from three-point territory through the past three games after hitting four of six attempts in the series opener.

It's probably burying the lead to note Devin Booker's (hamstring) absence puts more pressure on Paul to score. Booker led the Suns in points per game with 26.8 during the regular season, after all.

Paul scored 30 and 28 points in Phoenix's two wins, so the upside is there, and FanDuel is currently offering the best number for the over on his point total.
