In the NFC West, there are the reigning Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams, and then three teams that dealt with varying degrees of offseason turmoil.

Rewind a calendar year, and the division was arguably the toughest in the NFL.

Now, the Rams could coast to a division title while the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks appear to be in organizational transition phases.

Here are the division odds at CaesarsDraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbooks followed by a burning question for each team in the NFC West.

Los Angeles Rams

It was a quiet offseason for the champs. The losses of edge rusher Von Miller and left tackle Andrew Whitworth hurt, but bringing in veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner and wide receiver Allen Robinson helped mitigate the sting.

Additionally, three-time Pro Bowl wideout Odell Beckham Jr. remains an unrestricted free agent with strong ties to Los Angeles as a city and the Rams as an organization.

Otherwise, the stars are still in Hollywood, and head coach Sean McVay sports an elite 55-26 record during the regular season and has led the Rams to two Super Bowls.

Can the Rams be the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the New England Patriots in 2005?

San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco hasn’t found a dance partner to take incumbent starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo off their hands, and star wide receiver Deebo Samuel reportedly wants out of town.

The coaching staff also underwent a significant overhaul with 14 offseason changes. Most notably of which is former offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel now the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.

While the 49ers are still loaded with talent, should we ignore any championship hopes, and question if sophomore quarterback Trey Lance is ready – and even good enough – to lead the 49ers to the postseason?

Arizona Cardinals

Star quarterback Kyler Murray’s apparently unhappy, and No. 1 wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is suspended for the six games of the season.

Add a tough start to the season with a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs, a trip to visit the Las Vegas Raiders, and another home game against the Los Angeles Rams, and it could all be over before it even begins for the Cards in 2022.

Arizona made the playoffs last year for the first time in five years, will it be another five – or more – before they return to postseason play?

Seattle Seahawks

After a decade, the Russell Wilson era is over in Seattle, and the Seahawks project to start either Drew Lock or Geno Smith at quarterback in 2022 – an underwhelming proposition, to say the least.

Once a creative and progressive organization, it’s fair to question whether Seattle might now be trending towards stagnation under long-time head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider.

First, do the Seahawks even know they need to rebuild, and secondly, how quickly can they find their next franchise quarterback?
