The 2022 NHL Playoffs begin Monday night with a premiere four-game slate, and the Edmonton Oilers face off against the Los Angeles in the nightcap.

The Oilers have high expectations and will be looking to captain and otherworldly talent Connor McDavid to lead this team to victory.

McDavid led the NHL in points during the regular season, and both FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbooks are offering a few different scoring props on the superstar - let's take a look at them below.

McDavid averaged 1.53 points per game this season with 44 goals and 79 assists.

He also registered a league-best 45.46 individual expected goals share (ixG) – yes, even ahead of the otherworldly Auston Matthews, who scored 60 regular-season goals.

Bettors will likely be clamoring to back the NHL's leading scorer as the power play and offense runs through him, and at nearly even money or better, there's reasonable value to be had.

The Kings are a young talented team and accelerated their rebuild this season. However, the Oilers are large (-250) series favorites at DraftKings.

If the Oilers win the series and Game 1 as anticipated, it won't be surprising to see McDavid's name all over the scoresheet.
