Can a SBR rep answer this?
I'm just wondering why SBR only gave Paddypower.com a 'B' rating. Considering, no news has been listed about them, I would assume no issues have been reported? Is there any issues with them that I should be concerened about? I have been using them and they seem great to me. As above, no issues ave been reported and nothing really on the forums so far. Should they not be 'A' or A+???

    Thanks.

I don't handle the ratings at all sir, however I do recall SBR posters Natrass and Shantystar had disputes against a while back. However, I don't recall all the details surrounding them offhand.

Cheers bigboydan, it's more curiosity than anything else. Apart from PP limits, they are solid. Thanks again.

If I recall correctly SBR poster Shantystar's dispute was legitimate and should have been paid out. I believe it was over a baseball game where the pitcher did indeed start the game and they refused to acknowledge it even after it was pointed out on several different services.

Thats strange. Although I have seen cases on here of books doing worse. Not all are 100% user friendly. lol. Did they contact the person before the event? If so, then its still not right for the book to do so but they have ground I guess. Cheers.

The B rating is ok imo.

They cut your limits very fast, but without cheating you the whole time what books like bet365 (for example) do the whole time (no changed or voided bets and no live-betting scam)

Just to say mine was only with the poker cs.

As a sportsbook they are rock solid .. one of the biggest in the uk ... but definately for recreationals as moonbeam said.

              Good range of props.

They do have an annoying habit of always making it into the press with suspiciously recurring fluke winners .. "Man wins £600,000 on 25p accumulator" ... all made up I have no doubt.

They're a solid second-tier UK high-street bookie, like totesport or betfred--not at the level of ladbrokes, coral, hills, etc but still very very safe. They should be rated equal with or a bit higher than b365 or bluesq, and definitely higher than places like boylesports or stan james. If sbr has seen more complaints from them than the other places it's just been a luck-of-the-draw thing imo.

They are pretty good. There shops (few of them anyway) have pretty good staff that know what they are talking about. You mention boylesports Ortho, do not get me started, they are absolutely terrible. I would say they have the worst odds of all Irish/UK bookies. The only thing I could say for them a while back was you could withdraw your funds from your online account in a shop (I have a shop near work so it was handy), but of course, I deposited 50 quid and got one free bet of 50, placed both and won and I was limited to 8 euro (meaning that the remaining free bets that had to give me would be a maxmum of 8 euro), withdrew and left. Terrible. I could start a completely new thread. Lol. I'ce used all the bookie shops, Ladbrokes, Will Hill etc, they are pretty good. totesport and betfred seem to offer good odds, anyone have an online account with them?Cheers guys.
