It is "Free 1/2 pt Thursday" and it is between 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. EST right now. The only thing I can think of is that this could be one of those cases were "they reserve the right" type things might come into play.

Are you sure you are following all of the rules? You cannot get the 1/2 pt on or off of 3 or 3 1/2. You can also only put the bet in online. Furthermore, are you positive you aren't getting the 1/2 point -- It won't show up until you enter the password confirming the bet.

I used it for the half point on tomorrow's game making Memphis +7 instead of 6 1/2.

yes, i made it on the mavericks +2 for today game, i just spoke in live chat and they said that allredy corrected this, but it will be only this time, that i'm not entitled to that promotion...
